Stop in for a cup of coffee

The last time I bought firewood, I bought a full semi load of hard maple. 15 pulp cord I believe it was. Couple of kids from town cut and stacked it. It is pretty handy already cut and in those baskets.
Having someone else cut/split/stack is the way to go! I'm getting a bit old for that crap!

Craig close on the house yet? Here they are getting into bidding wars on houses.

New places has gas fireplaces. I won't miss cutting/hauling/burning wood.

My son called yesterday, he got accepted to WSU's medical school. Graduates U of W on Aug 17, starts WSU in Spokane on Aug 22, think we'll be helping him move.

Reminds me of when I was in CA looking for a house it was insane, offers in 20K increments!

Nice to have the closing date, even nicer when it's all done but that's a huge step. Pretty stressful for us, lots of work to get the old house ready for market etc. Timing is huge, we got 10k over asking.

My son said the Dean of the school asked him "What is your plan in case you don't get accepted into a medical school"? He answered that he would keep working on his applications etc., the Dean then said "What if you didn't have to do all that"? and then told him he was accepted. Pretty cool, he's earned his Bachelor's degree 100 percent paid for by his G.I. Bill, so that's a plus.

Chris you see what etherum did the last few days?
Yep I did. I caught it right after it started it’s climb to 2800. I threw some 50 bucks in and currently am up about 40 percent in my portfolios in part because of that

My buddy came in from Chicago yesterday for a visit. Some of you will recognize these buckets of pure deliciousness so may not. He was bribing me. It worked!
