Hi there. Was just the rods and pistons balanced or the rotating assy. And what part of Ky. are you from?

Just gonna throw it out there. If you are coming up to mass I have a 340 shortblock with trw forged pistons, stock rods and stock forged crank I would be willing to trade. Unlikely but worth a go.

Hey Anthony, could you get a little more specific? Especially on block prep, machine work, etc. I'm seeing rtv/old cork gasket on the bottom of the timing cover/block. New or used oil pump and pick-up? New or used cam and lifters, rods and pistons? Timing chain (I think I see a double roller)? $2k is an okay price but your description leaves a lot to the imagination. Thanks, man!

Cylinders were bored and honed for pistons.
New rings, crank journals was line bored. Crank was polished. New crank, rod and cam bearings. Machine shop balanced rotating assembly. The lifters and cam are not new they have 3 passes on them at the 1/8 mile track. The rings are gaped for nitrous oxide. The oil pump is new the pickup is used. The water pump is new. The reason you see the RTV is it had a oil pan on it but I took it off and used it on another engine. We decided to go with a blower motor instead of NOS. Short block was assembled and we stopped heads were never installed. Cam is set straight up dots aligned. All bolt holes were cleaned and tapped with no issues.I can provide with a stock oil pan if someone wants it. Hope this helps guys.
