Anyone run into issues with the front wheel studs on their a body being too short to mount their wheels? I have a 1973 dart sport that I am installing a set of scott drake alloy wheels on and the wheel studs are about 3/4 inch too short. Thanks in advance.

Yes. Barely long enough for the acorn style lug nut from the factory. Very annoying.

Yep, Need to run 3" studs with open end lug nuts if your going racing

Have you got a part number for the 3 inch wheel studs? I looked on the summit site but I did not see anything listed.

Let us know what you get.

Why? You can't even get an axle out!!! Sorry, I should have left it alone. But damn it, I couldn't help myself. I apologize way in advance. I have a doctor demento sense of humor sometimes. Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads.

This question is for the front studs. Ya?

Front wheels, or all around? Are the fronts disc or drum? 1/2 studs, or 7/16?
If you want the fronts only, and if you want 1/2x3 for discs, try moroso 46180, .615 knurl.
The rears are a different knurl size i think, and so are front drums, and i dont have a number for those, but im sure moroso, and probably arp, make them.
With the three inch studs, you will likely need open end lugnuts.
I think dorman makes some for a ford application that fit ,that are 3/8 to 1/2 longer than stock. Dimensions are on dormans website.
I agree with above, Best answer is knock out one of the front and rear, measure the knurl, and go hunting.
