ok, I've lived in the Seattle area for virtually my whole life, and I've never seen anything like this. It was 100, yesterday. It's predicted to be 110, today, 112, tomorrow. It would be very unusual to have one 100 degree day. Very, very unusual for it to happen in June. But, three days in a row, in June, and 110 and 112? Well that hasn't happened as long as they've been keeping records for like 170yrs.

Sorry, but I would be more concerned about the s**thole Seattle has become compared to a couple hot days. :( Building back better !!!!!

It's going to be HOT today in the N end of Idaho and all week long. They expect to set or break records. Surprisingly, the record in this area is not far off what it is--in the low 100s

Just looked about 1:30 today, Sunday, it's 100.4F

First off someone from southern California calling anywhere a s*** hole...
LOL...
Literally the blind can feel the global warming..
112° yesterday, 115° today...
Our AC is just able to keep it under 78° at the peak of the day... I don't think this system was built for temp's over 100°...

Regardless of your politics this should be considered on the facts . Weather is getting crazy ! 110 in Seattle is not just a warm day. Its the equivelant to Miami hitting 20* below .
If your car started knocking would you just keep driving because someone from another tribe said you might have a problem ?

300 year earth heating cycle. Sky isn’t falling quite yet. But it’s no wonder. THE main problem no one has the balls to address is population control. It’s just like parasites on a host. When they number more than the host can handle, it dies.

The Earth is definitely getting warmer and polar ice caps are melting. Is it really human's fault. Did we cause the ice age? Did we end it? Are we causing the present cycle? I think not.

Is there anything we can do about it? Colonize space? Is something like Star Trek Deep Space 9 in human's future?

One thing is certain, the caps are going to melt and it's going to get hotter than 700 Hell's in no more than 100 years. Life will be miserable in many places on Earth.

When the jets stop flying, I will park my old Mopar.

It was hot other day, it broke the record high for that day set back in 1899! Maybe global warming started back then!?

Most everything AC unit sold in the PNW is designed for a high of 95 degrees. That’s why they have so much trouble keeping up with these temperatures. And that’s a best case scenario.

If you have a south facing home (like I do) that is a ranch style (like I do) where you have 75 feet or so of roof getting full on, direct sun hitting it the AC unit will start struggling at 85 or so.

Been fighting the wife to get some trees out front to help block some of the sun, but she doesn’t want to disturb the view.

For the last 6 years or so I’ve tried to get some solar company out here to see about getting solar panels on the roof because I wouldn’t have a power bill all summer and probably most of the year, but no one is interested.
