340 exhaust manifold swap

Help, i am trying to swap out my old exhaust manifold logs to the tti shorties for my dart.
when removing the exhaust maifold anti freeze came pouring out of the bolts that held the
exhaust manifold to the block. Can someone let me know if this is normal when removing the exhaust manifold.

it's normal, the two outside bolts go into the water jacket of each head

Yes its normal make sure you put some rtv or some thread sealer on the bolts when you put those back in or they will leak. Ask me how I know!

Put rtv on some studs for those bolts. Won't happen again. Naked studs will most likely seize up in there over time.
