FINALLY GOT IT BACK!

Mike the only thing I would change is the location . The pictures should have been taking at my place. LOL. Otherwise that thing looks GERR-AATE. Glad to have given up some parts for it. Your Dad is all smiles right now. Remember , No revs over 3000 rpm's. He's watching. No rubber on the quarters unless it's what he put there.

Please tell me this isn't you.???

No car was not a power steering car , so did not come with tuff wheel. My dad must have put it on first thing because as a kid I never remember it not being there.

Yes Steve not only have you helped with parts, but I also gained a friend! I’ll probably be down again before it’s done! Lol also the shop that it’s in is my friend bill who has been with me when I’ve come down to you place.

Oh sorry missed your question. It was a rallye wheel car. I have the original wheels and tires with 2 miles on them!

I know but I think it would look better in my shop with the keys hanging on my wall. LOL

If you put the rally wheels back on that car your dad would spear lightning bolts at you from Heaven. That car is sweet just the way it is. I love the absence of all the cosmetic options. especially that single manual mirror . That car was bought with performance in mind.

This is my favorite car on this sight without a doubt. Its my color and all. You put any more pictures on here I may be forced to come up and steal it. Stop teasing me! LOL

Nope Steve keeping with drag theme. That’s what dad would want no rallye wheels! Probably go with weld pro star or cragar..... money might be a factor! Lol

I like the wheels. If anything have them redone if your not happy with the finish. I would be interested if your taking them off. But if I were you I would put them away. They are getting hard to come by if they are small bolt. Guys look for those wheels to complete there old race cars.

Small update. TTI headers arrived and we have started install. Also just got pics of my distributor, looks nice!

Finally caught up on this build thread! A wealth of knowledge to be gained here! Especially for the few V24 car guy's out there. Mike I am so jealous! Right decision to leave the car as your dad would have liked. I hope you can bring her to Carlisle! Should be in building T with the story for everyone to read! Nice job!

Been awhile since an update. Finally got the TTI headers installed! A few hours and choice words, but their in!

That blue "pops" in the engine compartment.

Funny you should say that. A guy was looking at the car today, and I said with the car being orange, I'm liking the blue engine!
