First of all let me say that by no way am I an expert on Mopars or Dodge Demons.

I met a guy at the car show yesterday who had a 71 Demon.

He told me that it came from the factory with a 340 six pack.

I told him not that I knew of.

A few differences in our cars. His fender tag started as E44 not E55 like mine and his VIN on

the dash did not have the letter "H" in it like mine. He also did not have the rally dash.

Can anyone educate me on the factory 340 six pack for Demons?

No such thing as a factory 340 Six Pack Demon, but Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago made a couple dozen 71 Demon GSS 340 Six Pack cars, they all would have had a normal 340 VIN then GSD added the Six Pack...

only 1971 Demon with six pack I've seen or known was produced by Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge, the 340 Demon GSS. My buddy has one.

Sounds like his was a 318 car, would have had a letter “G” in the VIN, 340 was “H”

A 1971 340 Demon would also have a Rallye dash.

nope, no factory 360 six packs, but i did meet a guy at a car show whose uncle had a 69 demon with a 440 hemi sixpack with camel heads right from the factory
it even came with a posi rear end

:poke:

@justcuz Like said above, 1 of 2 things are going on here. 1; He was told it was a factory option and he believed the seller. 2; He is a lier.

THE ONLY cars that EVER saw a 340/6 were the Plymouth AAR Cuda and the Dodge Challenger T/A rod the 1970 model year only.
The only other OE engine to see a 6 pack was the 440.
The 6 pack manifold has been made for the low deck and HEMI engines but we’re never OE.

Mr. Norm’s did dealer conversions which do not make it OE equipment or original.

When you tell him these facts, deliver these facts to him easy because he’ll ether get mad but for sure you’ll break his heart.
LMAO!

Man! He was up here in New York! That was the quadruple quasi moto, roller valve 555 HEMI with the mechanical 4 corner FI.

They made a lot of those 67-69 camaros ... um, ... "hey you mean still make them"
well excuse me.

LOL

Ha, did you not see the sarcasm bleeding from my face? Everyone who has a camaro seems to think it's an SS because.. well because SS! lol

No.. yes .. because my eyes are bloodshot already and it's still morning. Dude.
As Biden would say .. "Come on man"
Those re-pop SS badges come way cheaper than an original Mr. Norms.

You can build a new Cramaro with a Dynacorn body and never use a single GM part to put it together lol. Car craft built a 69 Cramaro non camaro vert using nothing but aftermarket parts. Now how the hell do you title something like that!!

Depends on the state. Some will allow it as a kit car.

DynaCorn ? :wtf:
******* Unicorn

Bodys come with certificate of origin with numbers stamped in them, I would imagine those numbers are part of the state issued vin. Unless you intend to never sell something like that, it's a colossal waste of time and money to build it in the first place.

Dynacorn makes out of steel
1970/71 challenger bodies
1970/71 barracuda bodies
64-66 mustang convertible bodies
65-66 mustang fastback bodies
67-68 mustang fastback bodies
69-70 mustang fastback bodies
67-69 camaro coupe bodies
67-69 camaro convertible bodies
70-71 chevelle hardtop bodies
49-54 chevy truck cabs
67-71 chevy truck cabs

They have almost all the pieces to be able to manufacture 68-70 dodge charger bodies

Snicker all you want about the name. This stuff is for real. Go google it.

I may be a bit old, but pretty sure E44 code is 318 2 bbl. Plenty of those built.

When did they start making anything (other than structurally common parts) for barracudas?
