318 freeze plugs required

Hello. Up here in Canada one cannot find frost plugs, either brass or steel. Any suggestions as to where or who to look at across the border. Your help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

older established parts store would carry them in Dorman drawers in all sizes. Chain stores usually dont have the floorspace for the big Dorman (or other) drawers. We have an Ace Hardware that has a whole corner of Chrome fastener drawers. They have a car get together every saturday morning before anything opens in that strip mall, about 100 cars show up for donuts.

make sure you get the ones that are "tall", some are thin (less contact to the block)

I call them "deep".

But yes MUCH easier to install, easier to go in straight, and less likely to pop out.

Absolutely agree with this ^^^^^^ There's more contact area to seal and they are easier to install.
