What would be my best option for a carb intake for the 5.7 to 6.4 stroker I'm building. Mainly street car but will definitely see drag strip plenty of times. It's going in my Dart.

I only know of 2 choices available. The short single planes d the crazy tall one from MoPar. What else is there?

This one looks sweet but it's costly

A few comparisons:
5.7 stock intake vs drag pak (similar to tall Ritter intake): Stock 5.7L Hemi intake vs the Drag Pack Single Plane | AutoMoto Tale

Prefix (formerly known as Arrow Racing) vs. Drag Pak: Dyno comparison between Arrow intake and Ritter DP

I don't have any personal experience with the OCP. I have read where people have had good luck with it. I have run the Prefix and Eddy dual four with good results. However, the Eddy dual four has port shaped for the early heads(03-08). There would be slight reshape involved to fit the Eagle/Apache port. The Prefix has the port window for the Eagle/Apache. My 426 stroker 6.1 has the tall Ritter. That REALLY works.

They don't give much information on the Ritter intakes. This will be for a street car and will definitely see the track as well. Be nice to see some real world results with these intake. I'm going to call comp cam today for a cam recommendation but I bet they tell me to use the HRT stage 2 cam which by the numbers looks very streetable. Finding information for a carbed gen 3 is hard

If you are trying to "package" the engine mostly underhood, the niether Ritter will work. I have the Prefix on my son's Scamp, I would have to get REAL creative on a drop base to run an air cleaner. I did an early 5.7 with the Comp 273 cam and the Eddy dual four for a 69 Charger. Works real nice. Also did an early 5.7 with the Eddy dual four and a stock(03-08) cam for a 33 Plymouth rat rod. No hood on this one. It works well, also. The Eddy does present hood clearance issues. Resolveable, but, issues nonetheless.

I'm probably going to put a six pack hood on it or run a hemi hood scoop. I seen a post where Brian at imm did a test the ritter tall against the arrow intake. It was a 378 stroker it was 20 hp difference but I'm not going for every hp I can find just somewhere in the middle with good throttle response. He used an 850hp carb as well. The cam was 240ish at .050 but mine will be smaller for sure probably 230 max at .050. You ever hear of the Arrow intake.

Yes, that is the Prefix that I speak of. the company changed hands or was "rebranded" or something. That is the one I have on a Scamp with a 5.7, soon to be 6.1.

I don't think you're gonna find a 179 dollar option. lol
Funny how now all of a sudden after it was brought up as fact by myself and others that " now " the Gen 3 Hemi is very expensive to build and aside from being ugly is why I stick with the LA platform.

Without a scoop, yes. But no cleaner/filter. With a six pack or Hemi scoop, no problem!

Ok great looks like the prefix is the winner. Pretty excited about the 392ish stroker build. Brian hit 555 hp with his 378 stroker and his cam I'd say should make well over 500 hp which is plenty in a Dart .

Doen't matter what you build, it isn't "cheap". Leave this guy's thread alone.

Amen to that lol a stroker 360 magnum isn't cheap by any means. I have 300 bucks in the hemi core so the builds are about the same price. For good heads for a magnum stroker I'd be looking at 2k. Well my hemi eagle heads will out flow them easy lol. Appreciate the help buddy. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the hemi with the arrow intake would you as well as the belt set up. I'll be running factory serpentine but no power steering or ac. Just wondering what I need to do to route belts.

I'll get a fresh pic for you here after a bit.

Thanks. Totally forgot about the MOD-MAN & Edelbrock. I didn’t know about the OCP or the two Ritters.

Kinda hard to see the belt setup. For no power steering or A/C, I have used the power steering delete pulley from Chrysler. The belt routing would be stock, only without the A/C.

Not that I know of. Have to measure and match. I did a conversion on a 72 Challenger with that setup. I'll dig a little to see if I can find the belt number.
