Vacuum held.

Blowing 45 degrees.

Yeeeehaaaaw!

Working AC for the rest of the 95 plus degree 95 plus percent humidity Florida summer.

4 cans of 134 @ $5.99 a can.
Dryer was $15, pressure switch was $10.
Gauges were $50.

Successfully completing my first AC work in 35 years- priceless!

(Oh, yeah...borrowing my wife's $120 vacuum pump- also priceless)

Finally ready to light it up!!! Bought a set of MSD wires that were red and supposed to be made for a Mopar small block. Way too long for my taste. I also decided the red clashed with the rest of the engine compartment. So I returned them and ordered a custom cut set in black. Real Happy with the results.

Headed over to a guy's place to swap his 4.30 center section for 3.73s. This may be a new side hustle for me. I don't want to get rich but I want to work on Hot Rods and not have it cost me money all the time!

Screwed them on through the little access panels inside the wheel wells?
I need to remove mine, any tips or pointers?!

Jeff
The V-eight badges, the posts broke off long ago. So just two sided tape and measured it out. The pentastar emblem still had the posts so just some two sided tape and put the posts in the holes

Cool.....
Mine are still pristine so I get to play contortionist through the access panels.....yay...!

Had some work to do on the carb for a big hesitation that showed up at the Mopar Nats last weekend. A few adjustments and it seems to be ok now. But still too rich at idle so some more work to do there.

So I put the street tires and "mufflers" on to get ready for this weekend's Woodward Dream Cruise! It will be a challenge but so far, I believe the cooling system is up for it. We shall see...

Washed the car last night after driving home in the rain last week. I drove it to work today so I could go to the local cruise night. The clouds were threatening so not many showed up, but it didn't rain and the car ran great.

Not to hi jack the thread but who makes this rad ? I'm looking for a "stock-ish' looking rad tha can keep up to my cooling needs ( I HATE the looks of the generic Alum rads ) how does this cool ( Compared to the original in the other pic ) ?

If you look at the cap, you'll see it's from Cold Case.

Yes it's a Cold Case.I haven't started the car and added antifreeze yet. Still have a few little things to address before starting. I'll know later this weekend.

Got her track legal again with some long wheel studs today. Hope to finally hit the track with my throw away 318 tomorrow evening after I attend a friend's funeral.

Also helped a friend get this beauty ready for cruise weekend in Saskatoon this weekend. Swapped 4.30s for 3.73s since he doesn't race it any more.

Got the back window in today, all exhaust finished, and got her fired up.
HOPING to be all finished up and driving tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck.

I looked at it in the garage today since I didn't drive it... its been driven a lot of miles lately. Lots of 5k + shifting, full throttle down shifts and big smiles per mpg's. Yes I need a new daily driver but only so I can give this thing a proper build
