Has any member changed a manual top to a power top? If so, how difficult is it and does anyone have any pictures of the work they have completed the power top conversion.

I would assume that if a power top was an option on that car then it would just be the pump, cylinders and hose.

Im guessing there would be some counter weight springs and the latching mechanism to keep it down for a mechanical top.

The top bows and raising/lowering mechanisms are completely different. If you use the complete too assembly and weld the appropriate lift brackets in place, it can be done

I have the parts you need, pump and cylinders and a drawing of the floor mount for the cylinders. In NC..
