Stop in for a cup of coffee

Off to Minneapolis today to take my oldest and his girlfriend to the airport. They are going to Iceland for vacation.

OK. Got myself oriented.

Pennsylvania bubbas... Just saw the liquor ration story pop up. A few bourbons listed. It includes Buffalo Trace, but I've not seen that on a shelf in the 4 state region for some time.

2 Bottle limit...includes inter-store transfer and specific types of champagne, bourbon, tequila, cognac and whiskey

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) —

Pennsylvania's state-run liquor system will begin rationing sales of a few dozen products on Friday in response to what it describes as supply shortages beyond its control.
I don't see that affecting many people. Certainly not me. And no, They never have anything from Buffalo Trace.

I see quite a few BT bottles on the list. Nothing new there. BT is bad about quantity. Their daily driver bourbon's aren't too impressive I don't think.

Now it's really Flamin' Friday!

Good morning :D
The second sleep shift after the break really helps

Thought you like their stuff...?
I bought a few for my collection. The cheaper stuff isn't all that impressive and the good stuff is so highly allocated it is nearly impossible to buy. Here in Iowa especially.

If I would have done a little a day I'd at least have all the undercoat off the bottom of my car! Boy Hoppy's oven cleaner is tempting, just don't want to deal with the run off plus a lot of bare metal and would flash if I sprayed to rinse with water. Heat gun, screwdriver, putty knife etc. Then flap wheel, wire wheel, both messy in their own ways lol!
Pnematic descaler makes fast work of it.

Maybe with the limits, I could actually find a bottle on the shelf. Not that I can afford stocking up on booze right now after my mostly unpaid covidcation. :BangHead:

Good Morning All! On the plate today, no work, just chorizo bacon!!! Oh and orange slices to make it healthy : )

So, which one's do you consider the DD's?
Their bottom shelf brands are Buffalo Trace, Sazerac Rye, Blanton's, Eagle Rare, and Weller Special Reserve. All of the entry level stuff is just ok in my book. Many of the ones I listed MSRP at $25+. Because of the allocation, retailers like to jack the prices up on those as well. There are older/stronger versions of the above spirits that are better and more expensive.

Rain showed up here but not the wind yet. We'll have a bit of a blow I think, hope we don't lose power cause I'm headed to the airport in the afternoon to pick up Becky.
