Like the Salisbury drive system? I had a Honda Odyssey with that mechanism. Great fun. Centrifugal clutch, belt drive, variable speed driven.
I own a 700 Yamaha SRX triple cylinder 2 stroke have seen a buck fifteen many times on the lake (gps) on a cart would be wild. But we’re talking about kids here a 250 rotax single pucker would be awesome out of a skidoo elan. Bullet proof engine. Lots of power to get them ready for the future Mopar

But like I was saying earlier an old air or liquid cooled snowmobile drive train would make a wild cart. If power is what you want go with a 700 Yamaha SRX 140 150 hp if not go with a 250 rotax single, clutch, driven clutch chain case a drive is all there. Parts are available thru sun and snow and the dealerships. You’ll have to jet carbs for warmer air they will be way to rich 30 below air carriers way more oxygen than warmer summer air trust me on that one burned a few pistons at minus 40. Centre to centre on clutches is important as is clutch alinement but power comes on strong and smooth. If I was to do that build again that’s what I would use

Interesting but yea I see what your saying cold air vs hot air in setting carbs.
Wild no gonna stick to a small 6 hp or about so I don't have to peel my grand kids off a tree.

You can have tons of fun with lawn tractors without cutting them up for their parts! They can be found dirt cheap, so pick your fun:

Give those tractors some love!

Don't underestimate those Harbor Freight motors. They are copies of Honda's industrial motors, many parts interchanging. When the time is right remove the governor and game on! :steering:

Especially if you get the Robin Air motor. They're Subaru's under a different name. Baddazz for a small motor.

That would be U.S postal service and if it was Fed Ex it would be a Rambler that broke down on the way and the driver is hitch hiking his way to your house. UPS would be delivered on time to 100 miles West of you to an address that is not even close to yours.
Hope that helps figure when your package will arrive Mark. LOL
:rofl::rofl::wtf:

Well the weekend is real close and looks like some stela weather here as well.
Morning and "Happy Friday".
Here's something you don't see everyday on mainstreet.

You've been warned Fred..

Put new hardwood flooring in my house over the last 2 days. Stripped out the carpet and underlay on Wednesday afternoon and got a couple of rows down before I was too tired to continue. Got up yesterday and went back to it, aching muscles and joints be damned. Finished up by around 5:30 pm, wife planning to sand and refinish the baseboards before putting them back on. I have to get the transition pieces for the doorways yet but otherwise it's done. Damn sore today though.
Before, underlay still has to be removed:

Of course the first thing on the floor is a dog bed.:)

Looking good Randy. My neighbour and I did our basement. Nasty job is all I can say. Worth it in the end though.

I'm Pissed, my pan isn't in yet and not sure if they get a delivery on Sat or not.. Here it is the last weekend of summer and it's just beautiful and the car is grounded. At least I'm doing stuff at home. Glad the grass has finally slowed down growing.

Been there a lot when I restored the Scamp but even worse now that people choose to not work.
Sorry Mark.
