Ok the guy posted the video of my sons race. Here is the link. He is the 2nd car out #20

Sure would be fun to destroy a car instead of fixing them. Just once in my life I would have a blast but bet I wouldn't last long on the track.
Thanks CF that was fun.

But I fix computer cars every day weird
Speaking of He He He the leader they selected is having a real hard time right now because he dont know what the codes mean or how to go about fixing them so every bus that gets an engine light goes to the dealer. The last one that we could have done for 2 grand cost 12 grand. Funny how I told them that would happen because I suddenly forgot how to fix them. He has them bullshitted so far telling them it emissions and we could not repair it in house. I figure by the end of the month we should have spent the years dealer budget in ful. He he he karma is a ***** when you screw over a good employee.

I bet he knows you could fix the problems.

Oh he does and has asked the other mechanic to try and get the answers from me. The other guy says he understands and is not pushing me. I called in sick today because there were 2 more written up last night with an engine light. lmao
Best not to piss off the head mechanic and put a dumb *** in his place.

Fred I have found that the code only tells you the part that is bad 10% of the time. You have to learn what code or group of codes leads to the problem. It is confusing more so on The Cummins engines I work on.

Best if I stick to fixing dents and leave the electrical to you and Biff. If I get a problem with my car sensors I'll try a hammer and if that don't work I'll trade you and you fix my car and I'll put the new 1/4 panels on your A body.:)

Had to think about that Biff and really have no idea when the computer tells you the sensor is out on whatever system. How the hell you find it!
The code gives you a general direction but the multimeter is your best friend. Not as hard as it looks

Going to a car show tomorrow that is over 200 miles away one way. Meeting up with a good friend that lives in the town the car show is in and he has my new VW bug that I get to see. I'm excited and the Scamp is ready to go. This old man is not ready but will drag my *** out of bed early and after 3 cups of coffee I'll be good. LOL

Well that’s exciting!

looks great, but can i point one thing out?

those seams would drive me crazy

They don't bother me really, I've seen lots of examples where most of the seams were close, almost like they were actually aligned. The box includes "random sizes", but there are still only so many pieces to choose from.

I'm Pissed, my pan isn't in yet and not sure if they get a delivery on Sat or not.. Here it is the last weekend of summer and it's just beautiful and the car is grounded. At least I'm doing stuff at home. Glad the grass has finally slowed down growing.
I ordered a set of headers for my Bronco on June 21, still waiting for them, I called the manufacturer after getting excuses from the retailer, and yes, there is a backlog in manufacturing.

Kinda like the screws on my garage tin roof not being exactly in line and I'm the only one that notices it and no one gives a ****.

Figures, Had the same problem with my Scamp bucket seats and when I got them they sent me 2 left seats. They wanted one back before they sent me a right one but about 3 months out. Screw that I made it work and yea pisses me off.
