What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

-
I've seen Gerald's car in person. It's clean, but he drives it often!!

I was really hoping to take mine for a long drive today, but its been raining all day.

Overcast in Dawsonville but not raining! had a window this AM and took it!

Removed the motor today. Due to a oil leak. Oil leaks are unacceptable in my book on a brand new build

Had to run the Plymouth to get a battery for my 4 year old Toyota. Its always the other way around so I thought it momentous.

Got the Barracuda lined up on Thursday. Cleaned , polished and hand glazed it Friday morning and took a couple small test drives. WOW!! what a difference in the car. It steers , handles and most of all stops better than I expected. Friday was my 57th birthday and I took my Lady to a nice dinner and we took the car. Snapped a couple pictures in front of the "castle" before enjoying some delicious prime rib.

Cc'd the J heads for my 340. I get consistent 72 cc's across the chambers. There will be some decking in their future as even though this is basically a stock build, I'm planning on something closer to 9.5 cr with my pistons. Engine has the old Mopar 284/484 hyd cam.

I finished the topcoat/clear on the 64 Savoy other day. Don't shoot me, cause its a B body!! Pulled the masking ff this AM. Turned out pretty decent. Not sure if I will try to keep it or sell it. Cost of a decent big block is spooky. I am used to the old days!!
I fabbed a decent knock off of the low profile hemi scoop out of 20 ga while back. Thinking of doing another in MW. Fun.
Rest of today? Trying to see when I will be in position to put up some roof for shop/shed is more what we use down here in the South!! Lumber is down a bunch from the stupid high I hear. Still comparing lumber to oil stem and C panels!!

You know what they say....Photos or it didn't happen.

I just received the upholstery kits from legendary so I am gearing up to redo some seats. 70 Dart with spilt bench front...

Also a good look! I have Torque Thrusts on my E body and Rallyes on the Scamp. Kinda wish I went with dog dishes on the Scamp though.

Did you ever get your Fuel Pump?
Not until late today. Of course, AFTER the beautiful weekend weather we had where I could have used it to try and make some progress. :BangHead:
I'll get out in the garage shortly and see what I can get done this evening.

I'm sorry. I was drinking all weekend and forgot to drop it off. Because it didn't fit my car. :poke:

Well, last night...

Still working through the brake troubleshooting... so I hit simple things to get a win :D

Scored a 64 jack and lug wrench..
Replaced the glass fuel filter
