Still no rest because the 2nd event of the playoffs, and 15th race of the 2021 season, the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals is scheduled for September 17-19, at zMAX Dragway in Concord, NC.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts. The first of 3 Pro Qualifying sessions is scheduled to begin at 6:15PM EDT (3:15PM PDT) on Friday, September 17. There will also be two additional rounds of Pro Qualifying on Saturday, September 18.

NHRA.com shows there are currently 17 Top Fuel, 15 Funny Car, 21 Pro Stock and 20 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries for this race event but that is always subject to change.

The TV schedule is, again, one day only with qualifying shown from 10:00AM-Noon on Sunday, September 19 on Fox Sports 1 with a re-air on Monday. Check your local listings for Final Eliminations program times as it was announced several times during the telecast yesterday that the West Coast will see the Finals on FOX before their scheduled NFL programming on Sunday, but the East Coast will see the Finals after their scheduled NFL programming. I have no idea about Mountain or Central time zones.

Post your picks and good luck!

REMINDER FROM GAME RULES (Post #1):

This "pick carry over" feature is only in effect for the "regular season". It will not be in effect for the six-event "Countdown to the Championship" at the end of the season.

@cuda20 and @memike, post your Carolina Nationals picks before the start of eliminations so they will still be eligible for round win points.

Congratulations to 'johnnycuda' (FABO) for winning the 'Top Qualifier' title for the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals with a very nice total of 30.0 bonus points.
He picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Funny Car and the #3 qualifiers in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'alsant' (FBBO) grabbed the runner-up qualifier spot with 28.5 bonus points.
Great picks all!

We have 14 players this week and 14 different driver combos made up of:
* 3 different Top Fuel drivers with one head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations between #5 qualifier Steve Torrence (9 picks) and #12 qualifier Doug Kalitta (1 pick). The next possibility of a head-to-head matchup is in the semi-final round of eliminations if both drivers survive the first two rounds.
* 7 different Funny Car drivers with one head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations between #8 qualifier Tim Wilkerson (1 pick) and #9 qualifier Bob Tasca III (1 picks). There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if all drivers survive Round 1.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers. The earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup would be the second round of eliminations if the drivers survive that long. Also, all 3 Pro Stock driver picks qualified on the same side of the ladder.
* 5 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers with no head-to-head matchups in the opening round of eliminations. There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if all four drivers survive Round 1.

Good luck all!

Thank you again for doing this @ocdart

Sorry Ken I thought I had locked in picks 2 weeks ago because I was going to be gone hunting. But that post seems to be missing. Oh well next year

Your post jogged the right memory cell - I remember your post about going hunting but don't remember your specific picks.
I'll go over my records when I get home tonight and redo your points using your picks from the Mopar Express Lane Nationals.
Stay tuned...

Points/standings update for the Carolina Nationals...

'cuda20' (FABO) posted a couple of weeks ago that he was going on a hunting trip and posted his 'locked in' picks for the next two races ending with the Carolina Nationals. Unfortunately, his post was lost with the server error issue on FABO.
He reminded me after I posted the initial results following the Carolina Nationals.
I remember his post, so I went back and updated the points and standings using his same picks from the Mopar Express Lane Nationals.
The points and position standings now shown on post #238 are correct.
I apologize for any confusion my forgetfulness may have caused.
