Now what?
How about explaining what you are trying to ask?
i guess not really a question but more of a post on a quality issue. in most forum's with the older cars discussion is often about how the younger crowd is not picking up the hobby and it's doomed. if you are building cars today from the ground up the bigger threat is the lack of pride or care in the part's people are selling. and that's not saying all manufactures don't care because i have gotten nice parts. i think that is one of the benifits of these forums is to show this. kevco has a made in usa sticker on there pan and box and the paper in the box say's each pan is inspected before shipped. if i had a question it would be if you were making pan's would you ship this pan out?
Send it back. F!#$ ITi called kevco and that was his response didn't you read the directions it say's to wipe out pan. if you look closely the coating what ever it is. is popping off of the rusty welds so where and when does this coating stop popping off? after it has plugged up the pickup screen or perhaps after it has circulated thru the motor? his response was it's hard times in america.total cost for pan, pickup and stud was 452.96 total cost for ruined motor about 8000.00 now that's hard times in america
As my Grandfather, a WW2 ground pounder would have said, " Not No, But Hell F'N NO" that is crap work. And you paid alot for it.
