Thursday here. All day and half the night. Good Morning
Ya see we just loose track of what day it is. We blame it on the retired "Don't give a chit syndrome"...keeping it simple everyday is Saturday!!

Just talked to a old friend of mine from Hawaii, he is in Vegas now, good to catch up been 22 years since we talked.

So it’s official, I go to court as a witness for the first time ever. On Monday

So, I had a guy with an ABS light problem on a Blazer. Scanned it and found the code. Did some research and found that the solder joints go bad on the circuit board of the ABS control. PIA, but fixed the issue. Gotta love Google. Lol.

There is one of those on the body control module on the firechicken, cant find any crack though. Google is great sometimes!

Had some loose solder joints on my Dakota ECM. You could tap it with a screwdriver handle and it would kill the engine. (probably the fuel pump) I put in a rebuilt one.

I got a new one now everything works but car wont crank, needs to be programmed!:mob:

88 up chevy pickups, board on wiper motor develops cracks. I fixed lots of them. Its the low melting point of the solder.

I have repaired video cards for computers, they get real hot when they are over clocked, Heat up your oven to 385, and let part sit in it for 20 minutes. The heat melts all the solder joints and repairs them. worked every time...

Need to find someone into tuning those cars. Im not sure if HP tuner will work on that ecm. A guy up here can set amost every parameter on the 99 up chevy truck ecm’s. Hes done lots of ls swaps, turns off evap, security and downstream sensors.
