Here's my Sophie we had to say goodbye to in Feb 20. She swallowed something and we caught it in time but the stitches inside didn't hold. She never made a sound, doctor said she was very stoic. Miss her every day.

Helping me in the garage after swapping axles.

The day of her surgery. She was only 3 1/2 years old, she left us way too soon.

Beautiful Rottie, they are such sweet dogs, so sad that she only had a short life. Reminds me of a Rottie/Shepherd mix female I had, what a sweetie she was.

My poop shooters, just hanging out, and the calm before the storm.
10, 5, and 7 months

We used to have a black lab/Irish wolfhound mix that had long wirey fur like that... She would go outside and roll in the snow during winter her coat was so warm....

My ex would have her fur shaved during the summer to help her stay cool....

Here she is with her summer cut...

I saw her at Cars & Coffee a few weeks ago and on Monday she is coming to live with us! At 47 years of age this will be my first dog!

Here's Dixie, my latest rescue. She's a Great Pyrenees mix, only about 55 lbs or so instead of the usual 100+ lbs. I think there is a bunch of Golden Retriever in her. She is the sweetest dog you can imagine.

My favorite dog, (before I got mine) was a great Pyrenees that belonged to the landlord at my business. An absolute sweetheart, a little shy and scared before she got to know us. She was mistreated,in my opinion, (landlord lived in a pet forbidden apartment) and I wanted to adopt her, but couldn't make it happen.
She did the cutest thing, when she was happy, she chewed her teeth.
