Stop in for a cup of coffee

When I got in work today half the power was out in the building... My coworker, Mike, said that there were 6 edison trucks and a 10 foot by 10 foot hole in the ground behind the shell station where we turn into our street for work...

Luckily they had the power back on in 45 minutes... The shell station guy told Mike that their power had been out for 5 hours before that...

While I was healing up from eye injury I got the chance to put the Demon on the dyno for final fuel mapping refinement. The race shop I use runs a Mustang Dyno, notorious for being stingy with torque numbers. At 5200 rpm (6.1 Hemi) I am at 452 HP at the tire and still well north of 400 on torque. I about peed down my leg listening to them wind her up. My idle is still a bit high as a result of a vacuum leak I need to chase down. But man she runs! Holy Smokes. Well pleased
1.215 horse/cube. Nice! If that was my 273 I would be running 331 horse. I would like that!

Have you guys seen the new hidden cameras????

Oh yeah, I got the sensors to fix my fridge...

I have it defrosting now and may give it a go tomorrow....

All set to install the magnum tomorrow. Found some newly chewed up wires. Going to depopulate the squirels.

I whipped these up just in time for afternoon coffee.....Date scones...mmmmmmmm

Well tonight was interesting.

went to the local Octoberfest here in Seymour. They had a local band doing a tribute concert for Johnny Cougar Mellencamp, being it’s his home town. Anyway, about halfway through the concert, some guy walks up onto the stage right as the band was finishing “Jack and Diane”. Chased by two cops, guy stops, turns around, cops stop dead in their tracks, the band goes silent, crowd is silent, then the guy takes the microphone from the lead singer, suddenly I realized who it was, ole Johnny Cougar himself. He then broke the ice and sang Small town with the band. Then thanked everyone and went about his way

I’m mad cause Both me and my wife had decided to leave our phones in the car and kind of detox from carrying a phone for a bit and something cool happens. Just my dang luck.
