Stop in for a cup of coffee

after the engine got pulled at 1:00, I spent the rest of the day scraping the 3/4 INCHES of grease, mud, dirt, oil, you name it off the k frame. Then I started paint prep with a sanding block to knock the rust and paint off. Tomorrow is going to be pressure washing and masking everything off to get ready to be painted. the underside of the hood and the entire engine bay will either be gloss black or flat white. (to make it pop:D)

this gloss black by the way. it will not be a mirror.

Never saw that done...
Mopars are same color as the body.
But it's your's. Black is fine. I'm sure it will be a very nice Nova when it's done. :poke::D
the engine bay. there is no way in hell I am painting the car. Its perfect the way it is. When you close the hood, it will look the same.

I honestly don't care. I was actually looking for a Nova when I bought my Duster. LOL. But you will get a lot of **** about it from the 'purists'.

Still a ways to go but its in and the hood is back on. Transmission, converter and covers back on. Starter, exhaust, oil fliter and new oil. Plus work done on the 67 Coronet. Not a bad day. Now I need to remember where those fuel pump bolts went.

We’ll moved in and .it’s first night in the new place. So exciting sitting out on the deck crisp cool night drinking wine and planning our future. I’m all in. Feels SO good after seven months and finally closer to being done!!
