2022 NHRA 'Silly Season' is starting early

Tony Stewart to have a two car team in 2022....Leah in TF and Matt Hagan in FC

Just another opportunity to see Hemis with Chevy, Ford, or Toyota on the valve covers. I doubt they'll be taking the Mopar sponsorship with them.

Stewart-Haas runs Fords in NASCAR.
I believe the TSR World of Outlaws sprint car is also Ford-powered.
The NHRA team is setup under the TSR (Tony Stewart Racing) so may be able to run a different manufacturer body in Funny Car. I'd still prefer to see Dodge bodies on Hagan's Funny Car and MOPAR lettering on Leah's Top Fuel car.
Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.

I'm sure Dodge will be throwing money Leah's way to keep her in a Dodge

It's no surprise Leah went to TSR. I wonder what pulled Hagan away from DSR? I wonder if Leah will still race the Challenger in FSS?

Low key announcement on yesterday's TV coverage of the NHRA Dodge SRT Nationals from Las Vegas that it was Leah Pruett's last ride in the Factory Stock Showdown Challenger. They said she won't be returning to drive it in 2022.
I wonder if this is any clue as to what Funny Car bodies TSR is going to run next year and whether or not Mopar is going to continue to sponsor Leah and Matt Hagen.
Stay tuned...might be an announcement coming out during the SEMA show this week.

An announcement on Comp+ confirms the previous rumor of Austin Prock returning full-time in the Montana Brands/Rocky Mountain Twist Top Fuel dragster for the 2022 NHRA season.
The surprise is the team will have co-crew chiefs Joe Barlam and out-of-retirement Rahn Tobler.
This could be good.

I wonder if Capps is pissed Tobler came out of retirement.
