had some deep 14×8's of those on rear of my high school '65 wrapped in 245/50R14 Pos-A-Traction plastic tires. Cheap on cheap!

So period correct ! I love 'um. Here is what I ran in 1976.Wish I had them today.

My car had them when I got it in 1977,

Here's a bad pic showing them.

They were the cheapest 4" bolt circle wheels available back then.

JK, Western Auto and Cal Custom made them? Typhoons!

Great info guys...I knew yall knew the history!!! Thanks ..

Little red express pickup trucks came with them Factory and Ronnie Sox had a set with bigs and littles...love em!!

I had a set of those on my 70 Duster that I drove in high school. I put a set of trim rings off of a set of Rallye Wheels on them, and they looked good. My car was a Lime Green Gold Duster, with gold stripes and a black vinyl top.

AL stamped wheels? Your kidding.....Would seem to weak?

no, i am sure they are cast aluminum (but they look just like these stamped steel ones)

you know, the fancy US indys (made in china)

Those are commonly called Westerns and they are cast. The shiny ones in previous posts were stamped steel to look like these. I liked the Cragar SS/T's myself. So did the guy who stole them off my bros Mustang!
