Can anyone verify that these are 340 rods. Thanks in advance.

I need to just keep my book out. LOL Yes 72 and 73 340 with cast crank.

Seriously, what book you have and how can I get one ?
Oops I thought you were talking about the value of the rods. My bad. It's by Galen Govier and this one came from A&A Transmissions but most Mopar parts sellers sell them.

Here’s one from from Galen’s website and yes I’m kicked back in the recliner:lol:

were those not pressed pin 318/360 rods that someone bushed? Larry Shephards book says those were pressed pin 360 and 318 numbers...? 2899495 were stock 340 floaters

I sold a set of 645 rods and pistons that came out of a 1972 Duster 318 that were bushed. Plus I have sold another set here that were bushed.

Everything I see online says 318, 340 and 360. We all know the 340 rods were all bushed so.....

Here is a 645 rod from 1970 340

Slip a wrist pin in that bushing end to see how wore it is. If it is out of spec it gets to be some bucks to have them re-bushed and fit. That affects the price of their value.

Can sell them as cores for rebuilding too. 340s got run hard, usually need the re-bush.
