Stop in for a cup of coffee

While I am certainly not a fan of EVs I am also old enough to recognize change is in the air. I remember when guys started bringing lasers on the job site for stuff as simple as plumbing or dry wall. I thought to myself that is ridiculous, as I pulled my plumb bob and level out of my box. Now I use a laser for all kinds of stuff including the geometry to set up the Demon subframe supports for installing the Hemi in it. Like most any tool at first you are apprehensive but as you use it more and more you find an ever widening spectrum of applications for it. How many young tradesmen today have ever even used a plumb bob? Do I want a EV heck no, but they are coming.

How many here can deal with one (or two) sets of ignition points? Or replace a clutch without a centering tool? Or set up a rear end to be proper by feel and sound? All of those skills will not be needed in the near future... but someone will be needed to bust tires for a long time to come...

Hello. I can. Thanks to the teachings of the guys here, I finally wrapped my mind around points

Looks like any chance of rain has cleared and temp made it to about 50F. Guess I will get at it...

So spending this windy, stormy day reading Andy’s oil modifications for big block Mopar books, trying to decide what I should do. So many good ideas

It's Sublime Sunday!

Good morning :D

I just got an email from "Dr. Dual", my turntable has been repaired and serviced. A lot of parts, maybe 8 but dollar total only around $100 for all parts. Looking forward to getting it back and listening to it.

Time to fill the big gaping hole… :rolleyes:Getting a workout this morning. Between all the worn out sawzall blades, chunk out of my splitter handle, beating the crap ot of my chainsaw l.. I probably could have paid for a stump grinder. But there is some strange satisfaction in doing it this way. :realcrazy:

Sadly you are right. :( but I’m hoping gas is still produced in my life time

My uncle has a country place, that no-one knows about
He says it used to be a farm, before the Motor Law
Sundays I elude the ‘Eyes’, and hop the Turbine Freight
To far outside the Wire, where my white-haired uncle waits....

Had a lot of different Octoberfest brews this year. Think this one is the best yet. Or is it cause its cold and in front of me? LOL
