"Graveyard Carz"...any fans here?

Comment about paint drying is funny as part of someone's actual job there is literally to watch paint dry, or at least account for the dry time and check periodically.

I did not read all of the posts in this thread but it is been covered before. I've known Mark for over 20 years way before graveyard cars when he was just beginning to restore mopars. Mark has always been very gracious to me and has let me tour his shop the few times that I have stopped by we grew up in the same area and have the same passion for mopar's though his is OME and mine are hot rods. One of the first cars mark worked on was a big block 70 swinger that he put together and actually cloned it from my car. I guess my point is he had as much success as he's had because he's genuinely a good guy and very intelligentand I know even with all of his success he would still take the time to talk to me anytime we ran into each other.

Long turd, bi-curious George, HELL YEAH I enjoy graveyard cars. He has my sense of humor even if it's just for the camera.
The Un-Flushibles, Bug eyed squirrel turd, baldy locks, BUDDY, swim cap, Chromium Diom-Cide.

Did anyone catch the latest episode which aired on Friday night? Mark and Tony went over a 1971 Dodge Demon pointing out all the options and some interesting facts about the car. First A-Body that has been discussed in a long time on the show.

And Will brought his kid (Kenny G..) in...
And the funny part Will was acting just like Mark warman acts to him to his kid..

There was a comment about the 150 speedometer only being available with a high performance engine.
In 67 on the Barracuda it was part of the Décor group, any engine
In 68 it was part of the Gauge package, again any engine.
The comment was made when they were talking about the rally gauges and early cars.

In the history of the show there have been many errors not just their liberties. I still enjoy the show. They do know more than me but they are not perfect, even Tony.

I caught that 150 mph bit, too.

The 150 mph speedo on a duster / demon in 70/71 may be a different deal than the cuda. The rally dash was only available in a 340 duster / demon I thought, so there would be no 120 mph rally dash speedo option in 70/71.

I didn't get that from their interaction, or what will said about his son's skills. Mark has to knock everyone around him to make himself look and feel better.

I like the show. Yes stupid drama some times but that is fine cause I get to see some cool mopars and tid bits of info here and there.

I've known mark for over 20 years and I spoke to him about the drama in his show after comments made in this form about 8 years ago or so when he first started. He told me if he had his way it would be much more straightforward and all about cars but that would make his viewing audience so small no network would support it or carry it. But by trying to add comedy and more body it brings in some wives and other people who push up viewership numbers. And it must work just by the longevity of the show which really no one ever expected. Keep on keeping on mark!

Funny you say wives, Lol. Mine can't stand him. I love the show.

Yes your wife has good taste lol . no all kidding aside the humor/drama is not for everyone but that's what has contribute to the longevity of the show, Mark is a character and he does make me laugh.

I like the show too. However, his goofy BS is getting worse. I'll still watch the show, but I wish somebody could convince him to knock it off. I am getting tired of Will the painter's nasty comments also. My wife used to watch the show, but she won't any more.

I seem to just fast forward thru it all. Darn sure never watch the commercials.
For $5 a month, get the Motortrend live streaming app. There are hundreds of shows to watch. And we get all the new shows about a week before they are aired. And no commercials.

I admit I have to figure out this "app" stuff. I don't even have a smart phone!!!
