Friends, it's going to be some time for 318willrun

I haven't heard from him in quite a while he may have croaked. And didn't bother to tell me.

Getting stronger by the day. Still, it will be a while before returning to full strength. Like I said in the 1st post, wasn't going to give a bunch of updates, but you'll know I'm doing better when you see me posting about in threads.... and I have :)
Also, to my youtube subscribers, you've seen by the videos that we've turned the corner !

Well then, I guess we can pause your legendary status.
You aren't a legend yet anyway. :D

I'll never be a legend..... just a guy with some old mopars and they all need or could use work. Simple life with a beautiful wife work'n 50 hrs a week to stay alive

50 hours a week?

1 no, just no.jpg

That sucks!

That's what it does to most folks I know that have had it.

I don't think you can dispute that.

Looking at the age demographic of this site, MOST are in a higher risk group due to age.

Re-think it. The Delta Variant is killing unborn babies. Some only a couple weeks away from the due date. A particular local hospital, for example, personally said their coolers were full of unborn babies. Why this isn't "data" or in the news is beyond me.

In the past 5 weeks, I've learned so much through talk'n with Dr's, personal experience, friends and family, speaking with hospitals, i can tell you it's been an eye opener. I'll leave it at that.

First you post you don't want it to go off the rails then you post this.....

Yeah I know, but when @318willrun did it himself, I decided it was ok.
Not wanting this to be political. When our fever was around 105 F, all I seen was misery, not red or blue. We were sick and suffered loss through all of this, and being in the game "first hand" was an eye opening in dealing with Dr's and hospitals. I learned more about the Delta Variant in the past 5 weeks than ever. I hope each and every one of you stay healthy.

It's like people are in a trance if they don't suffer personal loss they don't even believe this exists... Honestly I think if some of them suffered personal loss they still wouldn't believe it... Really the subject has become far too political and that's a huge tragedy of it all...

I'll say this: We weren't turning to the democrats or republicans. We prayed. Daily. As usual, even before the sickness.

Delta Variant does appear to be quite different. Know several people in my age group (40's) and below, mostly military, that got Cov early/mid 2020 and it was pretty mild to them. Some didn't know they had it until testing positive. The few folks I know that have gotten it lately have been really sick.

I just lost a car cruise buddy. Funeral is tomorrow. He has asthma and was on a vent for a few weeks.
