Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yup... the saying is "Keep having Birthdays, just stop getting old"

It's worth the investment of time.
With my past employment, and six yearly required physical fitness tests between the two for 20 years I spent a lot time working out.
I enjoyed it and still do.

I just had a funny thought. Electric cars better get used to really f#$%ed asphalt. Going to be really difficult to heat the rock to the necessary levels to make asphalt with electricity. :realcrazy:

I hit a good workout this morning. I feel so much better when I do that. Missed a day this weekend doing yard work and cleaning gutters at my daughter's. Hot Epsom salt bath helps recovery.

Going to do a blood workup on hormones and enzyme levels and see what I can do to boost performance.

Sometimes chewing through the leather straps to start the day is enough of a workout.

I think a majority of employers don't leverage accommodation of employees that work out and exercise. Loved my military time and working out 3 times a day... but that was a necessary job performance capability

Daughter just texted me a pic of New Orleans airport departure terminal, don't think she has any Cafe Du Monde on board but that's okay....this time lol!

Daughter wants to get involved with meal prep, fine by me. Wife gives me a shopping list today (I'm off for 6 days) that includes fresh cranberries, oranges and port wine for a cranberry sauce for the turkey.

Some days, that's a win
Most of my 'exercise' has always been between work at job and work at home. Never a gym goer. I really need to at least get a more 'aerobic' exercise in there somewhere. Just never seam to have the time or energy after all the other stuff. Plus for years I have had issues with leg cramps that only got worse with most attempts to do additional workout. The cramps have nearly ended since dropping Lipitor (took years)my numbers are up a little and doc wants me back on something. So, I am making some more changes to try to avoid that.

I hope you find that sweet spot. Really took years for me to find "old, worn out guy" friendly exercise programs. They really aren't out there so you have to figure it out on your own. My combination of the HIIT machine and Pilates is pretty low impact on my rebuilt should, repaired back and "modified" ankle. So far so good  feel better, toning up a bit and energy levels are up.

I deal with leg cramps as well. Magnesium before bed helps me a lot. Sucks to get launched out of bed because your shin and calf muscles seem to want to fracture your tib/fib

Ah that's right. I new they fudged something. Oops, EPA doesn't like that stuff.
What they did was quite sophisticated. Basically what they did was have the car tell if the car was being smog tested by all four wheels turning and if the steering wheel did not turn. If it was being tested, it ran a smog complaint tune. If not, it ran a tune that was actually usable to the driver. When they got caught, and defeated this cheat software, the cars were not viable, due to the EPA tune. Don't tell anyone but real easy to put old tune back in, and it seems, not get caught. My VW has been smogged twice since that was done...

I've been working out since I was around 13. By necessity, since I was always a very skinny kid. I was only 125 lbs @ 6ft when I graduated from HS. Then I really began to hit it hard. Was eating cans of tuna fish, and lots of protein. Even had a universal gym in my bedroom in the 80's. The wife hated it , cause I'd get up at 5am and get my workout in before I went to my office at the Parts Store. She would ask " who the f*** are you tryin to be ?" I'd say, just not skinny anymore.LOL. Well I dont have a universal anymore, so i do mostly calisthenics, and weights at home. Lots of sit ups , Ab work, Push ups, Pull ups, Dips, Squats, dumbells etc. Figure I been working out steady now for bout 50 yrs. I work out 5 days a week, and have the heavy upperbody stuff on Mon, Wed., Fri. Well I gotta keep at it cause I'm no longer Married, but I have a 36 yr old Girlfriend in Viet Nam. So I gotta keep up, keep young.. LOL I even have her doing a workout routine when Im not there with her to do it. She dont like it much, but she's gettin used to it. I tell her " there's no reason you cant work out , Im almost twice your age..

Some smart collage kids caught them, they actually set up a car with an onboard smog tester and actually tested it driving! OPS!!
