For the 1970 model year, there was the Barracuda Gran Coupe. So they named it Coupe. At least then.

I found this ad for 1967. It says "A fastback, a convertible and a hardtop" I don't know if you can read it, but that's what it says.

A rose by any other name will still prick you and make you bleed. I’m inclined to think coupe = hardtop for my purposes

I had this 71 Satellite that was an RL23 that had the A93 Coupe option and had fixed quarter glass. In 72 they came out with the RL21 that was a couple.

Was exactly my point, my Bee is a Coupe ! Made by Chrysler, called that by Chrysler..
As was mine. It matters what Chrysler called it and that's where the buck stops!

Ok just to stir the pot … you say the headliner is really long , well it must be for the ultra rare Swinger wagon :)

Yeah, you got that right. They did make some, you know. The Swinger Safari. I think @slantsixdan may have some info on them.

OP!!! - the sail panels were only covered separately in the mid 70s (starting 73,74???). The headliner for all my 70 darts is all one piece sewn together at the bows, and I believe 69 should be the same. I just installed one a month ago and the only separate piece was that they took the piece they cut out for the back windshield and put it in the box. Lay your headliner out and take a pic - you might have a mislabeled headliner.

The one part I bought from PUI was the headliner, and it was wrong. I complained. They agreed to ship another but it was going to be a couple weeks wait. I called YearOne and they had one shipped overnight. It was perfect. PUI did send another. It's still in the box. Good luck with yours.

I bought this one from Year One. It is a PUI product, but it came through Year One.

Length? No. Not even close. Spacing? I dont know yet, I havent tried.
That was the problem with mine. Spacing of front two bow sleeves was way wrong for my notchback. Box was labelled for notchback. The tail wasn't precut for either rear window ( all my experience was atleast 10 years ago ).
I dont know if notch and fast back bow locations are different. I know I can't offer this replacement headliner still in box to another owner. Don't want another to be as pizzed as I was on that day.

PUI has always had a really bad rep. I have never bought from them personally. Legendary is the way to go and usually cheaper to go thru vendor unless YOU can get a great discount direct. Black Fri maybe??

Who sells Legendary?

Also, I measured both the bow spacing and the headliner listing spacing, and both are 9” between each bow/listing. So it appears I can make this work.
