Have 73 Challenger bucket seat set. Installing in my 71 Demon split bench. Mounting holes on seat are 14-3/4" apart. Dimples on floorpan are 1 foot apart. From Bench seat outside holes to inner dimple is 14 3/4". So in theory all i need is a slider that is as high as the bench seat hump on the outside. The sliders that came with must have come from another car as they are 1/2" short front to back on the e body seat. Anyone make a simple slider solution for this?

The E-body seat frames are the same as A body seat frames. The bucket seat mounts do not use the bench seat mounting locations at all. All you need is a set of A-body bucket seat tracks. On a bench seat car there should be dimples in the floor for the bucket seat mounting hole locations. The reinforcing plates won’t be there on the inner holes though.

Thx for the reply. So a set of A body tracks will line up with the dimples on the floorpan and fit the 14 3/4 distance on the ebody seat frame? As the dimples are only 12" apart.

Yessir. The studs that go through the floor pan are offset from the holes for the seat frame.

Ok great i see these availiable at Classic. Last question. Will these be the correct height to get over the bench seat outer hump? Or do they have to be raised up to clear? The sliders I have are not offset so what car are those for?

They’re reproductions of the factory version, if they’re accurate they should just bolt on and the seat will be properly located.

You don't use the bench seat hole, you move the track in where the dimples are. You'll have to close the bench seat hole. If you use bench seat hole track won't be flat and adjustment handle will hit the door. I know because I just did this.
