Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, This is my first experience with navigating Medicare options. I'll be 65 next month. Lot of information to ingest..... :mob:
One of the reasons I’m glad I won’t have to deal with it. Or at least in theory

It was great to go visit. But glad to be back home.
Had to stop for a potty break and stretch our legs just alittle before we got home. So pulled into a pizza place. Got a cheasesteak pizza. Friggin awsome -large for $18 and actually has some beef on it. Just finished a couple slices and sipping an Imp Stout.

Hey what did you think of all that speedmaster stuff you got ?
I used the heads. As is except using a magnum block with roller cam and lifters had to clearance the push rods. Not much but most rubbed. Seems to run well.....

Looking at one of their dizzys with the ecm module built in to try just to see if the 440 will start. I’m gonna pay hippy to build me a good one to spec when the time comes and use a good factory electronic box.

Yeah, they changed the military retiree ID cards so they expire on your 65th birthday in order to ensure you enroll in Medicare
I’m predicting that both Social security and Medicare will be gone in the 31 years I have until that point

Guy calls back, says he got an offer $300 higher than asking price. Told me if i was willing to go up,i still have first shot. I said ok,as another one was listed for 10500 in similar condition.

almost called him back and declined, as it goes against what i would do.

Had he given you a verbal before you got that call?

Hes an hour away, i havent seen vehicle yet so there was no verbal agreement. And i didnt send a down payment.

I've become a bit sensitive over the recent trend of sellers open to up- bids....whether it's a vehicle, house or anything else. Not saying this was your circumstance but just in general.
