What's the part numbers for the operating rod, brake booster, master cylinder to convert a pre 1973 "A" body mopar to power brakes, I've found parts for every other mopar but not the pre 73's. Thanks
Not at all. I have factory front disc and factory manual brakes.it hard to stop with manual?
I prefer power brakes, if your car has power brakes I myself would leave them. I've had manual brake cars in the past and it takes more effort to stop and power brakes are safer and they don't cost any power.can i ask why? im going the other way.is it hard to stop with manual?

All good points. As far as stopping a car as long as the braking system is in tip top shape, I don't even need a master cylinderI’m wondering why vintage formula : sports racer race cars didn’t use power brakes if there safer over manual brakes.....
To each there own. I’m pulling the power brakes off my 72 duster this winter, manly due to the 107+3 cam I’m putting in....
Rusted out floor boards I take it!All good points. As far as stopping a car as long as the braking system is in tip top shape, I don't even need a master cylinder
I'm really surprised that none of you guys figured out how I could stop a car even without a master cylinder, it's a feature that cars have had for years, it's called a emergency brake, some are hand operated others are foot operated.Rusted out floor boards I take it!
Fred Flintstone called... He wants his car back
You got me! Good one!I'm really surprised that none of you guys figured out how I could stop a car even without a master cylinder, it's a feature that cars have had for years, it's called a emergency brake, some are hand operated others are foot operated
Manual brakes are great if properly installed and maintained. I drove a restored 1972 nova a couple of years ago and I had to stand on the brakes to get it to stop. There are other forms of power brakes, vacuum operated are not the only ones out there. If the car I get has manual brakes I'll most likely leave it like that.I have Power KH discs! I never was impressed with them!
They are currently the best they have ever been since 1994 and can finally smile!
In an "A", BB , the system does take up way to much space!! I went for the true fender tag and such!
My Previous B-Bodies braked just fine with Manual Drums!
I figured it would draw attention. You got me! Good one!
