Estimates for 1/4 time?

I'm working on building a 1983 Dodge D150 for racing. Just curious what people think I will run for a 1/4 mile time this next season. 3,200 lbs. Wide Ratio A833 OD 4 speed. 8 3/4 with 4.10 gears, Custom made Caltrac Style traction bars. Double Adjustable QA1 shocks. New heavy duty truck leaf springs. 1979 360 block bored .030 over, Sealed Power Hypereutectic pistons bringing it up to 9.8:1 compression ratio, 1970 "J" heads (1.88/1.60 valves), Erson RV camshaft (Lift: .420 int/.443 exh, Duration: 270 int, 280 exh, @.050: 204 int/ 214 exh, 112 LSA) advanced 7 degrees for a lot of throttle response and low-end grunt, PBM hydraulic lifters, stock rockers, Weiand Action Plus intake and Carter 625 CFM Competition Carb jetted for 100 octane fuel. Will run 15x10 rims with appropriate fitting slicks.

The et don't matter. Its a base line for you to build on.
I'm going to say 17s........ when you get it all worked out. learning how too leave the line with a standard will be the biggest et improvement.

Ok, I'll play. If it only weighs 3200 lbs, that's A-body light! 4.10 gears. A mild but stout 360. 4 speed, so he can leave at any RPM he likes (as long as it has traction). I'll say 12.77. He's a few hundred pounds lighter than DT :D

He'll probably finish the quarter mile and second gear depending on how tall is tires are... It's an overdrive for speed...

I wish DT had one, it'd help for highway cruis'n. I'd lower my 60 ft with it too

I'm not trying to be a smart-*** as I tend to genuinely have trouble being able to tell the difference, but is this a serious reply or a sarcastic one?

Both. I have a '80 D150 that kind of is similar to your build. My truck is a bit heavier than yours, and I ran 8.2's in the 1/8, which would be about 13.15 with the truck and wind resistance. But, folks are all over with their builds, so I have no idea what you may actually run, so I threw out 12.77 :)

Gotcha gotcha. Sorry don't mean to sounded big headed or anything. I appreciate the info!
 
According to Camcraft, specs for a stock 340 cam are 210/220 at .050. If that's accurate, your cam has six degrees duration less than a stock 340 cam. Kinda doubt that Weiand intake is any better than the stock 340 intake; but your carb is a little bit bigger. On the plus side, you do have an extra 20 cubes over a 340, and your truck is pretty light. And with the right gears and with traction, I could see a 340 A body that's stock except for headers dipping into the 13's.

Ten years ago my 82 Dodge D150 @ 3885 lbs. - Stock 360 Thermoquad /stock heads /cam /intake/8.6 Compression.
Torqueflite with 456 gears = Set NHRA National Record N/SA 2 12.12 @ 107 MPH.
This was a well prepared and put together stock truck! It had been as fast as 11.70 after that in class.

I do not know how I could of got it down to 3200 Lbs? It is a big vehicle.
