Header removal

So I found an easy way to remove old rusty rotted out headers.

I tried removing them the traditional way but 50 years of rust made it impossible.

I do it the same way, rusty or not.

Never buying a car with them on it prevents this though.

Reminds me of the time I forgot the combination to a pad lock. Finally remembered it!!

And it's a lot easier to throw them away that way LOL... Or maybe sell them on eBay as a kit .

I had to do that on the side of the road with a regular hack saw about 20 years ago. I had to scrounge a nearby junkyard to find a drivers side A body manifold, just to get back home!

You must have lost the universal key.

Same for me except I used the Ryobi method…..

That method works well I admit. I have found though on the dart if you take them out in one piece you are completely ready for reinstallation. However I have employed the use of this instrument on occasion and found it to be very helpful.
