1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

Once again it's time to parade my ignorance. First of all, do you know who made them? And, I don't see the usual triangle ring that lets you bolt the header to the downpipe. How do these connect to the rest of the exhaust?
Yeah they're Clifford headers. The standard collectors have been replaced with V band clamps. I have those as well.

I got Vixen a super cool new pair of quarter glass stickers. "Buy American"

@RustyRatRod Was glad I could help out, should be a nice addition to vixen. I have had good luck with the VHT & Eastwood's manifold paint. as long as you bake it on. either by a couple short warm ups or an actual oven ( if small enough ). cam break in is the real killer on header/manifold paint.

That's one reason why I'm going to go ahead and put them on this engine. That way, I can bust it off for the short time, then the long time.

Haven't been on in a while, Rob. Best to Kitty. You keep it up and you're gonna want to try out Jamey's Charger.... :D

The @318willrun sticker will slow your car .. lol...:poke:...

Ya, so he wont need a roll bar. Lol
The reviews are "most can feel the difference by the seat of the pants" and "best bang for the buck at the track". But of course, it's just the internet so a guy would have to get some himself to know if claims are true. :D

That will eliminate any clunk from loose spider gears and a wore out cross shaft.

What's the ratio? 3.23 ??
No sir. It's a 300 gear. This is what I'll use with the T5 transmission. It has a 3.35:1 first gear. It'll pull it. LOL

Sounds great. 300 ratio, just like the favorite 2.94 gear sets.

Like those a lot, especially Cruising at freeway speeds 75 mph . . .

Real similar, I'm sure. It was already in this rear end so I figured I'd use it. Going to pick up the housing tomorrow. I had 8 3/4 ends put on the housing and he stuck my perches on too.

I’m in the process of going through this. Just finished the under hood wiring harness. It came with a new fuel tank but the gauge is way off. I’m thinking they put the old sending unit back in.

Next project od the dash

That's what everybody says about Vixen. That I should fix the rust and drive her like she is. I will admit, it's a lot of fun.
I have honestly had more fun with cars that are a little rough around the edges than super nice ones.
Its kinda nice to park by the buggy return at a store, instead of at the end of the parking lot.

Well...I think I've FINALLY decided on a color IF it gets painted. It's a Mazda color. They paint the MX5 Miata a really DEEP red. It's beautiful.

Go for it.
I really am going to drive my Duster some this year.............

Do it man. I'm hoping I can at LEAST get all the parts together for the T5 swap this year....and maybe go ahead and get the Ford 9" installed. I think trying to accomplish both will be a stretch with my budget. Probably just getting the 9" in will be a feat in itself.

I really need to, I am down to the final finishing touches.
The T-5 with the O.D. would be sweet, I Just bought a new challenger and nothing wrong with 5,6 OD in the trans.
