JJ and Tricia had a very bad wreck during filming this week. I won’t post any pictures but it was pretty ugly. Some like the show and some could care less but they are still racers. Prayers for both.

Prayers out to both.
I think JJ's racing is more realistic of street car racing, turn off the volume and watch the racing. imo

Hate seeing accidents but it’s only a matter of time until someone gets killed on this set. No guardrails, no prep, and telephone poles. I’m sure they understand the risk but that’s not going to help their family.

I enjoy the racing, but I can do without the bullshit that often goes along with it. I hope that they will both recover fully. That Hummingbird car was badass.

I don’t see anymore bs or game being played on outlaws than at my local track which is Great Lakes Dragaway, just a whole lot more vocal. I mean it is TV. Great lakes has been a place of big time racing in the past. If you don’t race in the money and just test and tune, you just aren’t part of it.

cars at speed do not discriminate. If you think concrete or steel guard railing will stop a car, you are wrong. Most cars that get crossed up are stopped by driving skill and lots of good luck.
I have seen a rail go through the top end chain link retaining fence at Indy during the US Nationals, not sure how he made it through with out being killed.

Video shows the hit but not the crash. There are stills of the cars post crash. Tricia’s zip tie is destroyed up to the front of the doors and JJ’s hummingbird is totally bent. Word is JJ caught fire and left his lane hitting Trish then rolled. Trish hit parked rental cars protecting poles and filming equipment at the top end. I would expect to see more safety barriers going forward like water filled barrels and such. They made farm truck put a Kevlar jacket on his dog Louise cause he always had dog in the truck when racing in the first season.

I don't watch. Not that I have anything against it. Just don't get any of them channels. I probably would watch some if I did. Wish them a full and speedy recovery.

I do think it's always funny how the same folks pointin the finger at this kinda thing did it themselves a lot at some point in time.

I don't see anything at all worth watching on that "channel." Pure nonsense and fake drama.

Farm Truck seems the most real outta all em

The telephone polls are killer's....

They’ve been very lucky. I don’t know if the seat in this car fit Tricia or not, before they would put pillows behind her so she could reach the pedals. The in car video from one of her crashes years ago showed her being thrown around quiet a bit.

I wish them a full and speedy recovery.

Prayers sent for a speedy and full recovery.
I watch the shows now and then, and enjoy them.
No enough to know who is who, I usually just ignore the dialog and watch the cars race.
Sad to hear of the crashes and injuries, but it could have been a lot worse.
A whole lot.
These people are real car guys and gals with a lot of experience, not actors.
The actual speeds that these cars are going is no joke......

He's so real the sponsors won't even give him a new straw hat, let alone new parts like the other guys get.
I think he's more of a filler rather than a competitor.
He and AZN are a little too weird for TV. imo lol

Sorry to hear and hope they both recover in fine shape. There's a reason why drag strips and sanctioning bodies have such strict safety rules. Just sayin'

They're a trip, Man! For a second a was thinking they WERE " funny weird" but soon figured differently. I remember one were he packed his ol M1911a1 up with him. It's tv, but hell...
