Stop in for a cup of coffee

I doubt it. Probably profitable for them with no debt on the land. But not likely taking in enough for someone buying it without big changes.
Yeah that’s my thoughts. And with IRP and Salem to the north and south respectively, no way for a NHRA event. But would make for an awesome Mopar Nats location if the rumors about National Trail Raceway are true.

Introducing my 9 month old to the greatest American film ever made!

anyone wanna guess?

American graffiti?
no

Star Wars! Our two grew up on that series. Harry Potter is another epic series.
no

Debbie does Dallas? Na that movie REALLY SUCKED!

actually I have a funny story about that “movie”.

back in 2008, my unit was the first to receive the new Uparmored MTVs that replaced the Deuce and Halves. The MTVs came with a PA system. A very loud one. My Squad leader was my A driver and I was driving. It’s late summer and we’re stuck for hours in a traffic jam on I65 right outside of Indianapolis. So SGT Vann pulls out his laptop and decide to rig it to the PA system. So for the next 45 minutes all you hear is Debby does Dallas blaring from our Pa speakers. The looks and cheers and jeers we got from civilians were epic.

sadly, 2 months later the unit was in Iraq and didn’t make it home in one piece

anyway,

If you all don’t figure this movie out, you’ll all be hauling rubber dog **** out of Hong Kong

Gonna go Mach 2 with my hair on fire, right into the Danger Zone!

One of my favorites, Top Gun. Seen it about 100 times!!!
Ding ding, that is a positive Ghost Rider!

it is my favorite! I almost joined the Navy because of it. But they said my astigmatism would keep me from ever flying and they had just retired the last battleships a few years before, so I went Army. Boy was that a dumb decision

So here is a way to make it profitable which I would have never believed had I not watched it at our track. So our drag strip located in Sabin Mn changed owners multiple times due to not turning profit and waning interest. Let’s face it average age of a drag racer is north of fifty. So new owners bought the track they had/have a very successful tuning shop. Total focus on imports and LS only. Long story short they added a drifting track to the return road. Bam, huge successes, they are rocking it now. I truly had no idea the level of interest in that. Clearly validating my age and being out of touch with current motor sports. They have made a huge impact and really turned the place around via the drifting. Food for thought if any one bites on the dragstrip.

The income from the concessions are a big part of it, and for big concession income you need big attendance. K&K Insurance was or still is the go to for track insurance.

Famoso Raceway has many "Tuner" oriented events each year. I can only listen to fart cans for a limited time, so I can't say if they are popular enough to be profitable or not . We had hot rod VWs when I was a kid and they didn't sound so disgusting, what changed? :realcrazy:

Watching Mecum Kissimmee. Cheers
They are showing cars from earlier today. ( I don't know why) What the heck. I don't care!
