I bought a family pack of 6 and have 3 more to choke down. Got a new neighbor with a golden lab and a cat that look hungry, I should have them stop by for dinner soon. LOL
That means you got 3 more tries to get it right

I bet it makes a mean potroast

SO did another cubed steak for dinner tonight with mashed potatoes and gravy. This time in a slow cooker thinking it would be tender but no. Figured it out if you have to take a hammer to a piece of meat and beat it into submission it's best to leave it in the grocery store and buy a better cut of meat. Or I should learn how to cook I guess. lol
Learn how to beat your meat better Fred

Morning guys and hope everyone has a good Sunday.
Had a dusting of snow overnight and some more coming later but not a lot.
Last Sunday I put a big clear bag of shredded paper out for pickup. It is still there because the plow came along and buried it. I may try and find it today for tomorrow's pickup. This snow isn't disappearing very fast.
Another storm coming in tomorrow but warmer thank goodness.

Did you ever get your fields cleaned up CF?
Hope you had a good yield.
I finished a couple weeks ago thankfully it froze hard enough I could do it. The yield was short of normal this year due to flooding after planting then drought during germination. I run old equipment that is paid off so it wont send me in the poor house on a bad year.

Yet 25% of our CTV news broadcast is about stuff going on south of the border. Is Canada that boring?RJ
And a lot of it is about shootings or hostage taking or riots. Unfortunately we are catching up slowly. A 13 yr old boy shot and killed a 15 yr old in Toronto two days ago. There were two guns at the scene so where the hell did they get those?

Could you make more money renting your land? At least there wouldn't be all that work and guaranteed cash in hand.

I rent everything that I farm. I only have the original house with buildings on 4 acres that was here before they split the farm. Around me if it is not an original family farm it is split with houses because the kids only see money when the elders die and they split the farm for xtra money. I am saving what I can to hopefully buy some land and stop paying rent.
