Cat Piss.

-
It was me that pissed in your car, come and get some. :D
You can blame me, but not the cat.
Pinesol works good on mouse urine and ****, should work on cat urine.

It's definitely a touchy subject. I can't blame a cat for coming in my garage and doing it's natural thing but definitely irritated that some owners let their cats roam. I now live in an older suburb where most are retirees and have their toy dogs and multiple cats. This has its share of problems and differentiating viewpoints. Personally, I hold owners responsible.

Ironically, these old folks here flip out about the coyotes and hawks being a danger to their pets and demand action yet their free range cat kills every bird, lizard, rodent it can find. But when someone's cat is missing it's all "Thoughts n Prayers".

I like cats and dogs. Not a huge fan of most of their owners though.

Here is how I feel about it. I am a dog lover. I was badly bitten by a friend's cat many years ago. I was just sitting there, and the cat jumped up in my lap. I was petting it, it was purring, and all the sudden it bit me hard and deep. I did nothing; it just bit me and jumped down. They tried to blow it off as a 'little love bite", but it wasn't. To this day I can take or leave cats. I do NOT dislike them, but after that attack, I just prefer dogs. I know what you are going to say; dogs can bite too, but that is what happened to me. That being said, I am fine with people who like cats and have them for pets. I am not fine with people who have cats for pets and then let them out at night to piss and **** in other people's garages, flower beds, etc. That is very inconsiderate. The best thing to do is get one of those traps that catches animals without hurting them, catch the offending animal and take it to a shelter. That allows the owner to retrieve it or the possibility of adoption.

Lizards Matter.:D

Imagine having a free range lizard as a pet.. Could you tell him apart from the rest.. and would one go posting flyers when his tail goes missing? Would there be a backlash from Flys matter folks..idk.. its pick for your favorite I guess.:)
Small dogs in the city are like handbags and wrist watches. Big dogs in the city are like ego extensions for mostly all bark no bite folks.

We used to live out in the country. We used to have dogs...3...they'd eat the fence, break through it... even jumped it ..6ft once it was chain link. They ran with other country dogs about 7 or 8 of them total...they ran all night... we would find cats dead in the side orchard that looked like they'd been licked to death...basically played with till there neck bones broke... possums...sometimes other random rodents... they all went home by dawn and would be waiting at the front door to get back in. Never understood why the lazy firs wouldnt just hop back over or come in the way they escaped... pain in the *** and major liability. Love dogs...but that's 80-100+lbs of wild animal impulse and a mouth that's mauled to death many many people and other animals all over the world. Cats aren't mauling, dogs are. Pack mentality to boot.

Cats biting you sitting in your lap, is a sign of affection.
If they bit you too hard, maybe they want something more? dunno.

I'm out.
You can talk about wood chipping the cat or gluing it to its owners rear tire before he goes to work all ya want now.
Enjoy
For the first time probably ever i actually agree with you. Lol I don't agree with sentencing the cat to a death sentence its not the cats fault he didn't realize he was ruining the car!

Many do not care for there "pets" properly. You can tell this if a cat owner lets them out all night where they can get into trouble or killed, and a dog owner that lets them roam or chained to bark outside and never walks them. LAZY slobs that do not care and should not even own goldfish.

Any and every time I've helped you with the right answer/insight/info, you automatically agreed when it benefited you whether it reinforced ..or taught you something. Honestly I don't come here for people agreeing with me and everyone knows that. I come here to share and learn things that are outside of my particular interests/specialty.

So back to trying to help the OP... Try a spray on product called Kids and Pets - spray, brush in, vacuum after dry. Problem with the upholstery is it can get way down in the foam where you'll never get it out. I hope they were all vinyl seat covers - at least you'll have a fighting chance. I agree with others that I'd just pitch the carpet

Some just bite hard like that. We've had to work it out of some through the years. This bunch we have now is really good. They all seem to know when to stop. My best friend outside Kitty and the cats is a Gray Police officer. Whenever he comes for a visit, they love him. He's about 6-3 and a really fit guy and he's a black guy....and they just can't get enough of trying to figure that out so they kinda flock to him. Billy is probably one of our most sociable with new people...and Tiger. Billy just opens his mouth and "rests" his teeth on your arm. That's what he does when Terius comes over. Terius always says ""LOOK LOOK, he's tryin to bite me!" I think he's actually scared of cats.

I was brutally attacked by a bobcat when I was 8 and lost my left eye. This was 1973. On a Sunday. Before we had a "real" operating ER. I spent over two weeks in the hospital. They attempted to repair the damage done to my eye, but it became infected. Daddy said it was swollen to the size of a softball and they said had it ruptured, I would have died. That's when they made the decision to remove it. I loved cats before that happened and I've loved cats ever since. So if anybody has a right to despise cats, it's me, but I don't.

We've had some dogs through the years. We even raised pure bred minipins for several years and loved them. We loved all our little dogs. When we moved out here in 2002, we kept them in a pen adjacent to the house. Coyotes climbed the fence and got them all except the Mama and Daddy. We kept them both until their deaths and didn't breed anymore. We've not had any since. Thought about it and still do, but haven't. Dogs just aren't the same as cats. Dogs are trainable and controllable. Cats are independent and aloof. Dogs can bond with anyone if given the time and circumstances. Some would say that's a sign of intelligence in a dog and I guess it is to a degree, but a cat knows right from the rip it doesn't have to do a damn thing. That's high end intelligence. They own the hyoomahns, not the other way around. They are the masters, not the hyoomahns and they know it. If a cat bonds with you, it's because they've chosen you and there's no getting around it. It's something that's hard to explain to non cat people. We're up to nine now all inside. We have three strays that we're takin care of outside. We'll get all their shots and vetting as time goes by and we're able to catch them, but this group now has let us know in no uncertain circumstances that #10 in the house is too damn much and we agree. lol

I was referring to agreeing with you on non car related topics. Yes you are very knowledgeable and have helped alot of ppl on here with engine stuff including me and im always grateful and appreciative. But in none car related topics like this one you are usually blunt and rude and I don't agree with that type of behavior. Thats what I was referring too.

By the time someone has to come onto a website of strangers for an answer....answering bluntly is best. Onviously all other alternatives have been exhausted..lol
I'm glad I can help.

No one is seriously talking about killing a cat.

I am.
As for @MOPAROFFICIAL , we have 3 cats, a dog, chickens, a cockatiel, three frogs, two lizards, a snake, salt water fish, fresh water fish, and coral.
We love our animals. This stray cat that has been marking territory around here is a wild animal and it has been stalking our chickens and fighting with my cats. Just like the coyotes I kill, it will be killed when I get my chance. If your dogs ever would have come around my place and attacked any of my animals I would have killed them too.
Just how it goes, Bud. Save your animal rights speech for the guys fighting pit bulls.

I've had to do the same thing. I feel your pain. It's tough to do something like that as an animal lover, but my family and my pets come first on my property.
