So I went to the first car show of the season last weekend Corvallis Oregon, really nice turnout beautiful sunny day 68°. Got there a little late there was a great variety of cars from old Mercury's Camaros Chevrolets Buicks, rat rods just a really nice turnout 120 cars. But as I left a few hours later I realized I hadn't taken one picture, and that sucks! Everyone was in good spirits and included a very nice swap meet. Man Chevy parts are cheap! I could buy a dual 4 setup for small block Chevy including carburetors for what it cost for one HP 2 barrel for a six pack. I did snap this one of the motor compartment before I left I'll try to do better.

I’ve done the same thing, looked four hours at a car show without snapping a single picture.

Yep. you get caught up in it...especially after the last 2 years of covid lock downs.

Sucks you didn't get the pictures you wanted, but it's not a terrible thing to keep your phone or camera in your pocket and enjoy the moment!

Well I hope you enjoyed some great Corvallis beer at Block 15. Man I miss that place. The oatmeal stout called Nebula was as good as it gets. Block 15 sponsored my Hockey Team out in Eugene!

I do the same thing at family gatherings. My wife's always hounding me to take pictures.

Yes I was excited it's the first good car show in a while. I was really into the moment! also I'm definitely not a phone guy missing calls gets me in trouble at work and home. lol.

I have a love/hate relationship with my phone. I rely on it a lot for information, reminders, etc, but it often takes days for me to reply to texts or return calls.
