It didn’t specifically mention Mopar but I think any good news is good news as far as production goes.

I emailed them earlier this year after their heads and intakes seemed to disappear from inventory. This is the response I got.

It's just another intake manifold for racing, which I think that we have enough of. I'd like to see a better intake manifold selection for the street crowd ( dual plane ).

So how would you improve the RPM and Air Gap?

This whole thread is about the racing intake from trickflow. The best performance street intake you can possibly have is the RPM. That intake is so darn good, it replaces the LD340 quite well and removes the single plane from smaller cam duties it used to handle due to dual planes being not up to task for larger cams that are now OK to run with.

IDK what freakin dream world your living in it it’s time to wake up and smell the burning rubber my man!

If you want to build a bad *** street machine, use the RPM.
If you want to build a super bad *** street machine,
(Now read between the lines here VanWinkle! AKA, race engine!)
Get a single plane.

I thought that these manifolds would be brought up, noticed their rpm range, 2,500-6,500. Both have big runner's and port openings. Most on here say that the edelbrock performer isn't more than a factory intake manifold. I'd like to see a manifold that would have good throttle response and low to midrange torque.

Do you have any real world experience with these engines and their characteristics? If you aren't getting what you are speaking of with what's available either quit trying to be an engine builder/tuner or find a new builder/tuner.

Technically this post is about TrickFlow possibly finding a place to get intakes casted. If they are having them casted again that means they found a good place because they are the pickiest manufacturer I’ve ever seen. In my thinking that frees them up to engineering new products for racers and street strip cars. They seem excited about the Mopar market so who knows what the future holds.

I didn’t mention the performer, but if you have a 318 it would probably be a good choice. The RPM and Air Gap are probably two of the best dual plane (street) intakes ever made for a small block Mopar. They will make plenty of low end power unless you make poor cam choices.

I think it’s high time you understand no one here gives a duck about your complaint on what you think is a problem on dual plane intake manifolds in a street, street/strip thread on single plane intakes.

The intake you seek can be listed under several manufacturers and perform awesomely IF you know what your doing. So why don’t you actually build an engine before you complain about something of which you know nothing about.

Agreed. The quality of my TF intake is excellent and produced good dyno numbers for the cam that I chose. Their QC is very good.

I heard rumors pre-covid that TF was testing the Mopar SB market to potentially develope a full race head. Not sure how accurate that is, but that would be something.
 
A BIG if, but if I was to take that big step to get a TF intake, I would like to go EFI, if they ever come out with it.
