Been a busy day. We have our 50th Ann party next Saturday. Our kids are putting it on for us and glad they let us know instead of being a surprise. It'll be in our backyard unless it rains then it'll be downstairs. 32 family and close friends coming so not a huge event but nice just the same.
My wife has been working her tail off in the gardens to get everything ready. I cut the grass and trimmed all the gardens and sidewalks etc and then cleaned up. I'll do another cut Thursday or Friday so it looks fresh. Our actual ann. is this coming Friday. May not go to the car show tonight, I'm dragging my butt.

Any dry land around Winnipeg these days? Wife and I are heading there tomorrow in the Ventura, hoping we don't drown. LOL
No flooding but everything is soaking wet. Whiteshell park is a no go. If we get some heat the mosquitoes will be coming at you with a knife and fork. But otherwise good to go

Been a while since I've had to fend off hungry mosquitoes, we rarely have any in Southern Alberta, too dry. Curious if my old house on the Seine river in St.Vital was threatened like it was in 1997, right after I moved in.

Just finished the exhaust replacement on my sons soon to be truck. Pulled one of the El Caminos out of the weeds to put brakes on it and possible paint/primer it to sell. Time to let go of some of the projects.

"Speedway kicks ***" ....an old bumper sticker I had on my truck.

The other sticker was "I love Shamu".....?

Morning guys and Happy Sunday.
Looks like sunny and 21 today. Good working weather.
Car show tonight and I'm sure I'll be able to make that one.
Apparently last nights one was a real good turnout.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning men , yes I screwed up but thanks for understanding, , off to a fire land training course today should be fun !

Well guys I got a couple items added to the honey do list this weekend. I am now an official dryer repairman from one of them. The dryer drum locked up today so I tore into it and found one roller locked solid. Have yall ever heard of AeroKroil ? I used it with channel locks and was able to free it up and after about 3 applications after breaking it loose it is now working and quieter than it has been for years. I now believe in that stuff.

Aerokroil best stuff I’ve ever used, a little expensive but put good heat to the seized bolt in question then hit it with aerokroil done deal. No grinding no drilling and most importantly no swearing
