There are too many people on this planet. Food and water are getting in short supply. The earth's population has doubled since I was born. Lake Powell and Lake Mead are drying up. A farmer in Calif. pulled out his almond trees because his 'allotment' of water was cut. Looks like there will be tough times ahead. Hope I'm wrong.

Morning guys. 24 and sunny today so will cut the grass before it gets really hot tomorrow.
I sure don't have the energy I had before. Doing anything seems to be a chore.
Oh and Happy Hump Day as well.
Have a great day

Well it was supposed to be 24 and sunny today. We got half inch of sunny this morning.
Before it started to rain I headed off in the Cuda to Costco to get gas at 202.9. Halfway there (about 1 km away) It started to spit rain so I did an about face and headed home with a few drops on the car.
Went this afternoon and the gas had dropped to 199.9. BONUS!!

I did Biff and thanks for the good wishes.
BTW I talked with Fred today and he's still in Washington. His FIL died yesterday afternoon so he's staying to help get things organized. What a great guy and a great friend.

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to the wife. Sounds like y'all had a great time.
Thanks Jeff. Saturday was great and lots of fun with family and friends. Midway we got a heavy thunderstorm but we had two canopies and our gazebo so everyone kept dry.
Diane's birthday was perfect and she enjoyed herself in the garden. Her second home. Just lately I've had to cover myself in top soil to get any attention lol

Well I was right. We had a real mixed bag of weather. It was sunny and humid and hit 29 with a 39 humidex. The black clouds came over and all hell broke loose. Real heavy rain just like we had for Saturday. High winds and rain for about 40 minutes. There was also tornado warnings around the Golden Horseshoe and where my daughter lives. Haven't heard of anything touching down as of yet.
We were sitting on the deck under the gazebo enjoying a Maple Crown and Coke.
My daughter just told me she didn't have any damage but her neighbour lost some shingles and had a tree snap in half. Glad she's safe for sure

My dad loved camping, we belonged to the N.C.H.A. The National Campers and Hikers Association. Members would meet in a different state once a year. I got to go to Canada and a lot of states because of that! Unless there already is something like that, it would cool for us FABO folks. I would like to meet all you Gals and Guys.

Sorry can’t do maple crown or flavoured whiskeys of any sort. Not a fan. But a good shot in a crown and ginger press, you bet. For some reason they always taste like more.

Morning guys and Happy Friday.
A lot cooler today from yesterday and looks perfect for today and all through the weekend.
My daughter's hydro went out yesterday during the storm and still not on as of 7am. At least they were able to get a generator from a friend so the fridge works.
You don't realize how much we take hydro for granted until you don't have it.
Have a great day and an even better weekend

We have both regular and Maple and some ginger ale so drop in anytime if you can afford the gas lol

That would be about a 1000 buck round trip in my wife’s little car, with the dart I’d have to take a second mortgage out. Your offer stand here for you as well. Would be fun though.

Morning men,how far are you two away from each other ? Manitoba can’t be that big :poke:
