Same setup as last year. I am determined to run 9.99!!!

Keep after it, you'll get there.

I hope to get mine this year too, it ran 10.008 @ 134.74 last year, soooo close but still not a 9. :BangHead:

Wow, that’s close! Good luck! Going out again next weekend and I’m going to try a couple of small adjustments. Thanks

bring it over to 131. Maybe you will hit your goal. On another planet compared to the 3 places you mentioned regards racing surface quality.

i finally hit my goal!!!!!!!
went out last saturday and ran a 9.95 then ripped off a 9.88 for good measure. sorry for the time slips but i have a bad habit of sticking them in pants pocket who says 5.9l magnums(non stroker) cant run?! not this guy!!! still working on 60ft maybe 9.70's?

Very nice! Get the 60' down where it should be and you'll be smokin' right along.

Are you guys that aren't running 9's yet good to go?
Not going to get kicked out for going to fast?

have to have a license, halo bars( at least) and double layer jacket ..these are minimums, to go 9.99 or quicker.
Some hillybilly places you may get away with it for a while, or longer, but not anywhere else.
So yea, if you don’t have a license, can’t run in the 9’s
One of the reasons( having already been there, done that) I am not interested in doing it again. More trouble than it’s worth. 10.20’s feels like 9.90’s going down the track, and requires way less BS

That's kinda what I've heard and am shooting for low 10s myself. But to those trying for 9s giver hell, good luck & be safe.

lol
It’s all in the rule book( what I said)….just giving the highlights.
Big, big difference between 10.01 and 9.99 legally.

Been talked to several times, and bounced once for going quicker than 6.40 without a license, and all the other personal bs, even though the CAR was legal for 8s.
I just ended up slowing it down a smidge. 6.50s, with the secondaries disconnected.
The new car will probably go mid to high nines, but it's gonna run low tens for me.
