Not that this really matters at all, I just happened to notice. Why are the like counts different from under our avatars than they are in the "members" list? For instance, over there <<<<< I have over 68K likes, but like 28K in the members list. Just wondering why they show different amounts?

Not sure. I have a few opinions on these icons.....
People that read the posts and comment favorably but don't click a LIKE, THANKS or AGREE.....why? Why not show some appreciation?
People that click a disagree when someone states something that is their own opinion. Example : I like ice cream **DISAGREE**. How the heck can you disagree with something that I like?

Some may argue that commenting favorably IS showing appreciation.

I always hope that's a fat finger response.

hard to say - maybe the difference between likes, agree, thanks, etc

You got to be kidding!

2004, I think.

@Coyote Jack is member #55 (says so under his avatar) and he joined in 2004.

I've noticed the same about "like counts".

Yes, I am one of the OG. AdamR was the first member seeing as he was the owner. There are a few of us originals around but not many. This was not the first version of the board though. I believe there were 2 previous versions, I could be wrong on that but I do know there was at least one previous version. It has been a first class place right from the get go whether Adam owned it or if Joey owned it and I am proud to have been involved the whole time.

I've called out a few members who red x'd some things that were either facts or non-reviewable opinions by @ symoboling them and asking what they disagreed with.

None have ever responded.

asking what they disagreed with.
I'm with you. If you hit the disagree button at least have the courtesy to post your reason as to why.
If I make a wrong statement I want to know why so I can fact check and don't do it again.

Either fat fingers or jack asses.

Sounds like the South Park episode where the children were arguing over why someone didn't LIKE their comment. I still get messages every once in a while asking why I didn't LIKE or LAUGH at someone's post.

I've been here since the old site BTW

You're getting called out for not liking someone's post, I always wondered if that happened, Damn!

I often use my phone and the button get pretty small on a small screen. I fat fingered one time and gave someone a red X on accident. I got a really nasty PM, LOL!

I've been here since January 17, 2005. You guys are FAMILY, not just friends and customers.

I agree. Not to get off topic but I take a persons length of time on the forum, post count, and likes received into consideration when paying someone “Friends and Family” here. If it seems like it is someone who wouldn’t want their reputation tarnished then I give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, I’ve gotten screwed over when buying an 8-3/4 rear in person. I will trust someone with 1,000 likes here more than a stranger at a SoCal mopar swap meet, lol.

One more for you.
