Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning gents. Funeral day for us. 7 hours on the road today. The wifee has to be back home tomorrow for year end.

I have a desk day today. I am meeting with all of our Instructors tonight to discuss Red Dot training. I am working on a the outline and curriculum for the class all day today. Another Instructor who is retired AF does a great job in this arena and I lean heavily upon him. Once we get the curriculum refined a bit we post it for all the instructors and they critique and red pen it. In this way we have a pretty darn good platform long before it gets to a student. We will then go thru the class (as instructors) posing as students to see how it flows. Most folks never see all the background, research and effort that goes into a hands on class. It takes us months to create a new class. When teaching I truly love the feedback loop I get from my students. If you create a positive peer to peer learning environment they as students have the confidence to openly comment on what worked and what didn’t for them. In this way the curriculum gets stronger and I become a better instructor. Win win!

So, if any of you were inclined to build a rough, fun toy out of a discarded charger (think Nascar ish) would you build a C500 or Daytona?

Kind of cool buying some stuff from this guy.
