I recently cleaned out the corner of my tranny bench at work & found this. Can't remember where I got it from & it's probably been there for a few years. No number stampings at all, doesn't appear homemade.
The "toothed" barrels on the end of the adjustable screws are on a ball stud (so the adjuster screw can be turned independently of the barrels).
I'm not sure it's even automotive-related. Vert-de-ferk is it???

A jig? used to hold 2 pieces of material together to create a corner miter by soldering or gluing?

That's kind of what I was thinking. One person suggested possibly for picture frames. But why is one barrel screw at an angle??

I think it is a jig to ream out some ports or seats on a caliper???

It's a whozeewhat that holds thingamajiggers to the whatchamacallits whilst your do the weldamathingeeze process on your customized widgets.
Ultra rare, made of unobtanium.
I think there is a Swedish patent on it, named the Whatderferkermeister clamper.

That's an easy one it looks like a Lufkin tape measure to me, got a little kink at the 5.125" mark!

OR

A modified Version of a Production Perversion!
