Am I missing something? All the bolt in connectors I can find say they are for 108” wheelbase only. I found a part number for the old Mopar performance connectors but they are sold out everywhere. I can’t weld, and I’m not looking to spend a bunch of money getting a set welded in. Any help is appreciated.

Yep not sure about the A but on the B and E bodies the dodge is 3/4 inch longer wheel base than the Plymouth

No sir, no on the E-bodies. Challengers are 110" as mentioned and E-body Barracudas are 108", just like the A-body Barracudas, Dusters, and Valiants.

In general A-body Plymouths were 108", Dodge A-bodies were 111" (except for the Demon/Dart Sport, which was a Plymouth chassis).

Prob can have a metal shop make them for you.

Fwiw id weld them in.

Us car tool are a good weld in option also

Yeah but he doesn't weld, hence the whole point of the thread. Minimizing the time needed to be paying a welder.

The USCT connectors are a welding nightmare, and everything in the interior has to come out for those. Not to mention, if you're paying someone to weld those in it's gonna be A LOT more than welding in something like the tubular connectors.

The Hotchkis connectors are in stock at Summit for the 111" wheelbase cars. They're expensive, but as far as welding goes they're pretty simple/fast to install. So the install cost would be MUCH less than the USCT connectors.

I knew I was missing something! I admittedly can get easily distracted when looking at part numbers and numbers in general. I swear I looked up and down Summit and couldn’t find any thing for the 111 inch wheelbase. Thank you. I’m going to keep my eyes out and try to find some of the Mopar ones just because they’re full bolt on, but I will keep this in the back of my mind.

I missed the cant weld part sorry. ..that said check facebook market place. You would be surprised what turns up

From the new Direct Connection catalog. Does it list the same part number for A, B and E?

Hey midnight Swinger, If you come up with some that you want welded in, I can come down there and do the job for ya. I work for compliments and candy. Or get the thing running and bring it up here and Ill put them in. No problem Brah!

Well there handsome, I’ll order up some weld in’s and bring you a box of chocolates!

I used the USCT units, but you have to have the carpet out for sure. Ill weld in what ever you choose. Maybe a member that has those or an equivalent will chime in.

I’m just lazy, and I don’t want to remove all of the under coating necessary for the USCT connectors. I definitely think that they look the best though, almost factory.
