Hi, Car is a 1974 Duster - I'm looking to lower the rear with lowering blocks but not sure which to buy. Anybody know what size the locating pin on the blocks should be? Do I need 1/2" or 9/16"?
Thank you

If it were me I would do one of two things. Loosen the u-bolts on one side and measure the pins, or purchase the 1/2" and if its wrong, drill it out with a 9/16.

Thanks. I see what you're saying about drilling out the lowering block hole to 9/16" but would there be any issue with the 1/2" pin on the block going into the 9/16" hole in the axle tube plate? Is that too much play?

Yes, that’s too loose. You wouldn’t think .0625 would make a difference but in this case it’s like socks on a rooster.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that. Well probably best to just remove it and see what you have.
