Hydraulic or solid has more to do with the weight of the lifter which would probably be just about the same. A roller lifter is going to be more heavy and require a heavier spring to keep it from bouncing...

Lifter weight is very low when it comes to spring rate.

I found some hard to find 2.08 Ferrea valves marked down
And free shipping at A-1. Almost pulled the trigger at Vivid Racing three days ago but I’m glad their website gave me issues. Got them cheaper and free shipping instead of 24.00 shipping.

I’ve had Vivid take my money for something marked in stock. Took me weeks to get it back after they admitted the part was on back order and they had no ETA. Probably good thing you found a better deal elsewhere.

I had a strange feeling about that place after an online talk with them. Which I never heard back from. Click, delete. Thanks for the heads up. But Jegs did that to me also so I have to have something bad to buy from them also.

Same with jegs. I rarely buy from them anymore. Summit is basically Amazon for car parts, but at least their customer service is on point.

I did get something for the Swinger, Classic Instruments Velocity Series marked way down because they were returned. Hopefully they look as good as they do in the pics, amazing deal for US made gauges. This is my Christmas gift from the wife and kids, I make it so easy on them.

If I do the duster I'm definitely getting the inteletronix... I used their generic setup in my truck because they didn't have one that fit behind the factory staff but they do for the a body. I did one for a customer in a 72 Ford truck and it fit behind the factory facade... The thing about this unit is they come with all the sensors, american-made, and have a lifetime warranty...
I put this one in my car just to see if the discount would apply....

Worth it to spend the extra $400 on the 190cc speedmaster over the 170cc?

I wish I could see a set sometime to see them in person. I personally would never pay for something I can do and there’s a right spot and a wrong spot, or spots to remove metal.

I was actually about to buy the Intellitronix when I found the smokin deal ($234 shipped)on the Classic Industries. It comes with all the sensors needed for install and it has a data logging port. The intellitronix seems like it will be an easier install though, you won’t have to cut the dash and fab a bezel like I will.

Yeah, in your case that's totally understandable. I don't have the experience or the flow bench to truly make honest improvements. I take it you're well over $400 to do your thing on a set of the 170s, but I'd assume you're getting much more out of them. Maybe one day when I find out I have an inheritance from a rich distant relative the family didn't know about I'll send you a set of the 190s to play with.

Yes I’m higher than that but then again some shops charge 350.00 for a 4-5 angle valve job and to check out and correct the spring pressure.

Again props to speedmaster... They have a true Black Friday sale 40% off which are already good price to begin with.... These other companies with their 10 and 15% off of their already high prices are a joke...

Again it beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick but you're really expecting some kind of over the top sale for Black Friday not just a little Nick off the corner...

All I can say is Speedmaster is showing a lot of Mopar heads still in stock. I’m still getting emails trying to get me to spend more money. They must have a boatload of these heads. Get it

Those are being cast and assembled on the boat and shipped to your front door.
Maybe I'll get a pallet load and have it shipped to you for porting and assembly.
It should keep you busy and well tuned for a year or two. :D

They are assembled in house... CNC 'ed at a shop close to there Nevada wearhouse...
These speedmaster castings are better than the "made in America" Edelbrocks...
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it...:poke:...
